    Hello!:hello:

Just a very quick one from me this morning as I'm waiting for DD to pick me up to babysit DGD while DGS has his swimming lesson, and will probably be at her house for the rest of the day. Just wanted to send love to everyone, and ((((HUGS)))) to all those who need them!

Will pop back this evening if I get a chance. I'm off to start reading the thread now and hope to "see" you later.

    Best wishes

Hi Everyone hugs to you all!

DH remembered where he put the bolts for DD swing last night and so has put the swing together. DD keeps popping out in the garden to look at it and have a quick swing as she is so happy that it is finally back up (we have only lived here for a year and a half) he also put up the baby swing, so that she can play with her dolls in the garden too!

Anyway without trying to jinx myself I think today is the day for the baby to arrive. I have really bad cramps (TMI coming up) and have had a show. DD was born four hours (roughly) after I had a show when I was pg with her so...

Going for a long walk with DD to see if we can speed this whole thing up! Glad the house is clean and tidy!

why not get oh to buy you a load of mags, there are some good freebies in some this month. i got free body shop coconut body butter with marie claire, £3.30 and some bertie flip flops out of the instlye mag. Have you got any good books to read? I have just read 'a thousand splendid suns' and it was unputdownable, one of those books that just sucks you in. Morning all,

My thanks button seems to be playing up atm  so I'll try later. OOOOOh Cat, is the rocky road *Darroll Lea* brand. It should be about 4lbs worth. ;) Been busy today with housework etc. Nothing too excited. Make a passionfruit butter cake which is lovely. It made 2 cakes so I've put one in the freezer. Went for a brisk walk this arv. I'm trying to be really good & start up my walks again. It's hard over summer.

Squiddly Granny is a bit tied up atm. :D
JackieO I second what Catz said. I'm glad your doing so well.

Not to mention the stress for the parents and the teachers. What annoys me is that dd has done little else this term and much of the last but SATs - after that there will be the rsidential trip and all the leaving hoo-has. it would be better if it could all be spread out a bit.

Pippad - the very best of luck for today - woo hoo I'm excited :j :j
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008

It doesn't taste as creamy but still nice. They have to put something in it so it doesn't melt so quickly. In Summer by the time you got it home from the shops into your fridge it would be a puddle otherwise. Darroll Lea chocolates are really nice. I'd drop hints if I were you. There chocolate covered macadamia nuts are gorgeous. Just say you'd heard they were really nice, blah, blah, blah. :D Xmas isn't that far away.

Just thought I'd let you all know I might have a chook named after me soon.

stefejb, I do feel sorry for them. ds2 also going away for a 5 day residential trip soon, he will be very tired by then! i bet!

I feel the same as you, I feel there has been no let up at all, its all sats sats and more sats. ds2's school even made every pupil attend sats revision every thursday till 4. 30 for weeks now. These kids are shattered! roll on summer hols
