Good Afternoon All
Brilliant news CM Congratulations!
Catowen - how is your friend doing? And hows her daughter?
I managed to get an appt this morning at the Docs, I live to see another day, he's not put me down just yet! He reckons the dizzy spells will eventually pass, but if it happens again, to go back & they will carry out further tests! Was late getting work by 40mins, so stayed later than usual, to make up for lost time!
Only a quickie for now, as I have the school run now!
Love Emma xxxHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure0 -

Afternoon all
Just a quick post. Have been up since 5am as I wanted to go to the allotment and water everything before I went to work. It was so lovely as it is cited on the edge of one of the parks. Goodness knows what people thought if they saw me out there in my nurse's uniform.
Work busy as usual, had one of they days, was nice to get home. DS has a friend round at the moment, they get on so well and hardly make any noise at all.
Not sure about tea, might do a stirfry. DS has karate and homework. Also need to go to Asda and do a cheap shop.
HUGS to all who want one.
Catch you later.

Afternoon all,
lovely day to day, bbq this evening lovely to be able to eat outside without an umbrella at the ready. Shopping this morning with OH to get the last few things needed for holiday..he hates shopping and kept sneaking off outside the centre to have a cigarette and would then forget where we were to meet...should have gone alone.
Hugs to all who are suffering in any way at the moment.
Tired mum, what a pretty self possessed looking young lady...glad you're proud of her!
Have a good evening all

Have just made onion bhajis for the first time and everyone liked them.
Also made lentil dal and they enjoyed that too!
DD(14) has her brace tightened but says it does not hurt at the moment but made her a soft meal that is easy to eat anyway.
Need to catch the library before it shuts so see you all later.
Delighted about DIL pregnancy.
DD had her sats last week so we just have the joy of waiting to see how she did."This site is addictive!"

Evening all,
I haven't read today's thread yet or caught up on yesterday's, so I hope everyone is well, big hugs to anyone who wants one.
I've felt really good today, which for a first day back at work is good! I've been to B&Q & Tesco on the way home for a few bits. I live on the edge of a golf course - I've got home and there's a load of teenagers sat on the top of a bunker with others playing the hole. I'm assuming there's some special day on otherwise they'd have been kicked off by now.
I forgot to say yesterday - with last night's past we had 1 spear of home-grown asparagus!! I love asparagus, I only ever buy British in our short season as the flavour is so much better (plus I like to support British if I can), so when I discovered it growing in our garden this time last year (our first spring in this house) I was thrilled!!! There was usually only 1 or occasionally 2 spears ready at a time, so I topped it up with bought stuff but still, I'm very happy it's back. And it tastes fantastic cooked as soon as it's been picked.
Another thing I keep forgetting to say is how cute your baby piggies are Tru!! If I didn't have 2 cats I'd be tempted to get one! But I know our cats would be unable to leave one alone. Is there anyone else with cats who worries about the local mouse/vole population?! I have images of poor little baby mice and vole orphans(Yes I am a little bit mad :rotfl:)
Right, enough ramblings from me, I'm off to create something in the kitchen, some form of rice/gammon splodge I think.
Enjoy the sun

Quick hello and (((hugs))) to all from me, it's a gorgeous evening so I'm off out into the garden while I can.
DH is going to try and get the car fixed so we can get it off the axle stands and back on the road as I go into hospital on Wed for tests and might end up stranded otherwise
See you all later

Hi everyone
Still croaking and whispering so it is very quiet at our house. Coughing when I lay down, so ended up getting up around 5.20 am, and dosing in the lounge, so a little tired too. Managed to read page 1, and by the time I had had some breakfast you were on page 3. For a total sun lover, I am finding it too hot to sit in the sun:mad: .
4 loads of washing done, caravan emptied, and clothes not used put away. Then slept the afternoon away:o .
