    Good morning, (just):D

Well starting with JackieO's inspiring post through to PippaD's exciting one it's a very positive thread today:D And lovely news of PenPen's chicks. So on the same theme I have some good news I've been hanging onto for a while. You may remember DS1 and DIL in Canada suffered 2 miscarriages in recent months, well I'm happy to announce that she is 15 weeks pregnant and things are looking good:j    :j :D Can you tell I'm pleased:rotfl:

I started to read the thread, then had to pop out to fax some important documents, came back read a bit more, got interrupted again etc. Just my way of explaining non mentions, but I truly have read every post;)

I do remember PenPen's DS has a footie final tonight. Good luck, finger's crossed. And well done to Mr dogrose, what a good result:T

mrs mix, hope Dad is more comfortable today ((((hugs)))) to you both

Off for a bit of a read again, CMx

    Hello all !
Lovely day again but a bit breezier so not so overpowering.
Builder turned up this morning to make a start on roof and other repairs so I've got a constant banging in my ears !! Still, mustn't complain.......job has to be done.

Think I recall at the end of Martin's programme last week (the one about 'are your savings safe? on ITV) that there;s something on tonight at 8pm ITV about how to cut food costs down when shopping. Might be worth a look.

Have a good day and hugs ((((((((((:o ))))))) to those who need them

    CHURCHMOUSE - fantastic news!

TIRED MUM - congrats on your DD's award!

CATOWEN - well done on losing 4lbs!

JACKIE0 - what a wonderful post; you are such an inspiration.

REDRUBY - bless your nephew; I hope everything works out for him.

SQUIGGLY - the chaps at my local tips are very good; just look helpless and flutter your eyelashes! You'll soon find out where to put everything - all the tips are very organised these days and everything is signposted and labelled.

Well, I've been to the gym and now I'm starving so I'd better do some lunch.DH is still at home, he starts another job tomorrow so I've made a list of things for him to do! He's mowing the lawns at the moment!

    See ya

Just edited to wish PIPPA.D the best of luck. Today would be a lovely day to be born, wouldn't it?

Afternoon all! Woohoo finally we have our own working wireless connection so I am sitting in the garden as I type this, what fantastic weather.

Washing is blowing, I don't mind hanging it out so much when I know that it really will dry and I won't be looking at it getting soggy in the rain! Another load on so best get first folded in a bit.

BM is doing its thing, oh gave into dd3 and bought her a loaf from the shop, cos she moans about hm bread, well it does involve a bit of chewing so she has to stop talking! Guess which I prefer her to eat and why!

DW loaded, sides wiped down, hoovered, need to mop but dog keeps putting mud on the kitchen floor, no idea where he's finding wet mud, he must be sneaking out of our garden - yeah right, he's currently sprawled asleep on the patio, looks worn out, but then bassets always do! dd3 and her chums want another water fight when they get home and since they all troop into my kitchen to get their water there really isn't much point mopping yet, can you all tell I don't want to go indoors and do it!

It'll be hm burgers done on the barbie for tea, anyone know why small packs of mince were cheaper per kg than the big ones in Mr T's! And leftover couscous and pasta salads from yesterday. Pud will be some of the bargain ice pops, 40 for 50p, means I don't get cross at feeling like I have to offer them to everyone, I'm not mean honest, just there are an awful lot of kids in our village and they all seem to spend their time in my house and garden at the mo!

Other than that I'm meeting a friend for a swift coke and a catch up about their weekend away before heading into w**k - please let the aircon be working tonight! Still at least I'll lose weight if it's not!

    Enjoy your afternoons everyone! x

Afternoon all, three loads blowing on the line, house clean and tidy, made 2 bananna loaves, (one for freezer) lamb is in the sc, then I had a call from DD's school could I go and collect her, she is boiling hot to touch, but shivering, with small red spots on tummy, and the ends for her fingers and toes are tingling :confused: she has has chicken pox so it can't be that, will see how she is tomorrow.

    Churchmouse congrats, fantastic news :T

Tired mum well done to your DD, she is a pretty girl xx

Cat well done on the weight loss :T

Hugs to Mrs mix and candygirl and dads xx

Pippad, good luck, keep us posted :T

Sorry if I have forgotten anyone, its not intentional, in fact hugs to all xx
