Well thought I would let you all know about my trip to Boots! (Im a newbie in here!)
Armed with my T&C Voucher and my Parenting voucher for the free TS Conditioner and my till split
    Went to the till with
    1. t&c shampoo model me
    2. t&c spray model me
    3. TS Shampoo
    4. TS Conditioner
    5 TD Handcream
    6. Baby bottles
    7. teats
    8. dummies

All vouchers went through apart from the TS Conditioner one!
Was there ages the sa trying to figure it all out! anyway she sent me away to get another T&C prodcut and another TS Product which meant they ended up going through for 3 4 1!
My bill came to £12.23 I couldn't believe it and to top it off the SA was so apologetic asked me if I could wait a few mins which I did and she came back with a bag full of perfume samples for keeping me so long!!
    :xmassmile Looking forward to December:xmassmile

Customer services are saying that as the spit does not specify/exclude any particular time delay range that it can therefore be used on the mens and the SA just needs to over ride the till.

I'd try again tommorow if you can get in and ask for a manager or a CS call to be made if the SA refuses :)

hi well the same should have aplied for my trip today with my voucher, i picked up two nivea DNage sun face creams BOGOF should be £15 each so i would have paid £10 for two but when got to the till they said ''oh sorry the £5 does not count these'' Well it should not say nevea DNage on the voucher if things are xxcluded:mad: i also looked at the mens range and there were no red stickers saying thewy were included  Naughty of them

went to Boots (again!) to buy some "essential items" I forgot to get yesterday.

VO5 hot oil - £3.89 (to sort out my bad hair day)
Boots nail polish remover - £1.25

    TO PAY - £5.14

got another till spit! Felt obliged to spend it so ...

TD wipes - Free with till spit

    Also got

    Soltan spf 50 spray, 200ml (reduced! :D No lid) - £5.39
Soltan aftersun spray with insect repellent - £6.49
    Soltan BOGOF so...

£6.49 to pay and got another till spit!

There were still some of the reduced soltan spray left (original price £10.XX), got it from the large Boots on Oxford Street. They are on the first floor in the sun shop bit mixed in with the other full price stuff.

Also, if you go downstairs, in the skincare section (opposite the TD stuff, still LOADS of wipes BTW), there are (I think) free samples of Sanctuary radiant skin exfoliator. It's a small, white, 5ml tube, no barcode and they were in a clear box with No 7 "please test" stickers on it.
I picked up a couple and when I was paying I explained that I thought they were a free sample. Thought SA would say "only free if you buy a sanctuary product" but she didn't! :T So when I was getting my TD wipes I picked up a couple more.

Hope this helps any London Bootsers!

Also stopped by the clinique counter. Their bonus time starts next week apparently. Don't know what their GWP will be though as the SA was busy.

I am sure you have all seen the hey fever/allergy tablets all over boots. But have you looked closely at the free offer with them? It's really good.

Besides the BOGOF, they were giving a free sample of Hay max. Which is a little tub of balm that you put around your nostrils to stop the pollen getting in. I checked out the price of this instore and it costs £6.95 a tub!! They are calling it a trial size, but it is the same size as the one they are selling for £6.95

The good news is you can get one for every packet of hayfever tabs that you buy. I bought 2 (BOGOF) and got 2 freebies. So I went back and got 4 packets & 4 more freebies.

Anyway, there was no problems, 2 different SA did the transactions and it was not queried, one was at the pharmacy too.

But it gets better.:T :T Inside each packet is a voucher for a free packet of Kleenex balsam pocket pack of tissues worth 49p. voucher expires soon though on 31st May.

It gets even better too:T :T It's also available online even with the cheaper products and will give one freebie with each purchase.

If anyone in your family has any kind of allery these are well worth stocking up on. The hay max is really dinky and will fit in your bag easily. Keep one in the car too. Hope this is of use to someone. Stop those sneezes!!! There is no excuse.;)

Hi sorry i can't find who it was that said they had Sciatica on here and that they had some good results from homoeopathy but can you pm me with details of what you took etc my mum is very bad with it and nothing is working. I asked in boots and the SA on the pharmacy and she didn't have a clue she said there isn't anything she could take other than Ibuprofen.

sorry for bumping my own post but no one has replied and i am desperate to know what tablets the person took. i have just got off the phone and mum is nearly in tears she can't even bear to walk so can't go out to the shops to find some tabs so i will go. Fingers crossed i can use my till spilt on something tomorrow not seen anything much. We are a right bunch today aren't we i have a sinus infection but i have been really sick on the antibiotics will drag myself to boots can't let the till spilt go to waste.

Sorry op about your car it's so annoying isn't it. hope you get some good bootsing done to cheer you up. I had my wing mirrors stolen while i was in sainburys a few months ago.

Hi, I had sciatica recently and I was prescribed diclofenic from GP, which thank God worked. Obviously it wasn't homeppathic so not sure if its any use.

I was going to try this today but I talked myself out of it. I decided that because I had just ordered some House of Fraser vouchers from consumerpulse I should use them to buy sunblock so that I would be getting them for free. I did think about buying the DNAge for a long time though! Would have been a bargain if it worked.
  • The till split works on time delay hand and nail cream £5.00 one. so got that and wipes today!
:j I sometimes give myself admirable advice, but am incapable of taking it.
