and also the 500 points on the tony and guy shampoo and we got the great big bottles on 2 for £8 which was better than bogof AND the points. also the free everyday indulgence stuff when there was a glitch with the tills and they all went through for free and combined nicely with the ACM coupons for 150 points on everyday indulgence products - that has got to be the best one yet - completely free products AND loads of lovely points!!!
i remember the everyday indulgence one it was about 2 years ago everyone gave u points and scanned for free lol on my 3rd trip into my local i got them all taken off me saying they were not for sale but told hubby to get out of the store with the 2 bags i had already got in the 1st 2 trips:rotfl:0 -
I got the dreaded beep on the Model Me voucher today- I had bought the Helena conditioner and the Jamelia serum
. The SA said I must have bought the wrong items but once I fished them out of my bag she had to agree it should have worked. So she got a colleague to manually override the till, so it meant I lost out on the multisave- paid £4.99 for them both
Maybe this beeps if the two products are not within the same model range (eg both Jamelia/ both Erin/ both Helena???) Anyone had any experience of this being the case or not?
I might try two Helena products tomorrow- but then I think if the till beeps I'll just ask to leave them as can't really afford to pay another £4.99 for them!
The till beeped for me with two Helena items on Saturday. I bought the Helena shampoo and protein spray. They cashier did override it (for two coupons -- I also had the newspaper one!), but I lost out on getting the extra £1.98 off. If I knew they had fixed it and the ACM coupon would scan, I might go get a couple more at £3!0 -
If you buy a sandwhich reduced to 75p, does the meal deal still cost £2.99 or will it be less?0

Found my coupon for this safely tucked in my mini photo-holder - thank you to whoever originally suggested that too! Got the Smart Card for free but SA didn't take Ad Card, luckily when I checked receipt it said you missed £4 of points so I went back and got her to put it on. Got this at the Pharmacy counter. She frowned a bit and said she would have to tell Manager about this but I got my 400 points for nought. So thank you very much.
Found mine as well. Loads of confusion at pharmacy though. They said you had to pay for 12 weigh ins which would cost £12 so said I wouldn't bother. What did you actually ask for to get it free and 400 points in the end?0 -

Less NuffinisFree, for instance:
75p for s/w
90p for Shapers drink
37p for Shapers Onion Rings
So in that case I wished I'd just bought the sandwich
Unless you get the same SA as I did over the weekend, who somehow rang in a:
Reduced s/w at 75 points (It was a reduced drink)
Chicken Sandwich 225 points (that was the reduced sandwich)
Shapers Onion Rings 37 points
and a No7 hummingbird eyeshadow at 50 points

Sorry to quote myself but I've just seen that some of you have paid £5.75 for the No7 glossy locks and the online price is that too? How come I got charged 50p more?!?!
Is it because I live in London so they charge that little bit more??? Not fair if it is!
Dark Angel,
I know the price hike is annoying but at least Londoners (including people like me who work in London) have loads of Boots stores to shop at. Some of those who post live in the sticks and only have 1 store locally, and some of them don't even have an ACM! So it is not all bad!
