ScorpioKitten is the expert here but I'm sure she uses manned tills with vouchers. The SS tills are set up to beep when using vouchers.

SK will put you right hun & me if that's wrong lol xxx

Rubes is right :p I always use manned tills for hefty voucher combo's.

Did try the SS till yesterday mind, and the 200 point voucher is fine, but the £5 off £20 PC voucher 'requires assistance' so the SA will definately have to come and sort if out for you. But at the manned tills nothing beeps, so less embarrasment that way :A
Can you please tell me about this? :DI love hearing about past glitches, it makes us all better bootsers! :rotfl:

Thanks!!
No7 was on 3 4 2 and all suncare was on BOGOF = 6 4 1 if you bought 6 items from the No7 suncare range:D there was also a 5.00 off No7 skincare voucher out at the time. This was a great glitch:D :D

I haven't tried using the 5.00off No7 voucher on SS, but pantene vouchers worked ok:D

Jeepers! That glitch sounds amazing - but I bet boots wouldn't be so foolish to do that these days :( Still, we can but dream! If anyone wants to share details of other past glitches I'd love to hear those too :)
;) One of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you! ;)

Sorry if this has been covered, but does this have a shiny eye-shadow effect? Or can you not really see it shimmering ? It sounds nice but not sure I'd use it as I wear make-up during the day (what a slapper lol).

JT, you can use it on your brow bone (the bone that sticks out under your eyebrows, above your eyes-if that makes sense!) It looks nice and highlights the area.

There is no sticky/slippery feel there. I wouldn't personally use it on eyelids as it would doubtless melt my mascara and give me a panda effect.

I wear this under eyeshadow and you can't see it. I also put some under my eyes and it's not noticable there, either.

I bought this, for me and my OH to use on holdiay. when I opened it to show him he was not impressed.

I hadn't realised it was shiny:o :o

For the menfolk out there, you might want to try Boots Essentials lipsalve with SPF15 -- it's 89p and in the section with all the chapstick and vaseline lip products. It's clear and has a slight fragrance like cocoabutter.

Pash has been around the longest she will know them all. She's been away but is back now, so I am sure she will help out on this.

Another great glitch was the change one thing/time delay glitch - about 2 years ago now  Shazspice and I shared the POTM prize for that one :o

On the change one thing booklets there were vouchers for £5 off Time Delay - do I need to say more? Loaaaaads of free items  :j

There was also a glitch on essential aromatherapy items with a change one thing booklet voucher as well. This also meant you could get free items - I remember getting candles, pulse point gel, body sprays, moisturisers, foot scrubs and cremes - again, all free :rotfl: :rotfl:

I'm sure there were more, less obvious, change one thing voucher glitches but I can't remember what they were now but Daniele Ryman rings bells though?

Maybe more of the longer standing bootsers can remember that one - I seem to remember there being 2 lots of vouchers for Daniele Ryman - with different barcodes = more free products. :j

... and I still have a box full of No7 sun products from the 6 for 1 glitch last year :o

Darn those glitches, got me bootsing again! Need a bit of help with the shop though.

1st shop
Model me movement balm
Model me Matt styling paste - 2 for £9

Used free model me styling product from ACM- saving £7.97
Paid £3.51 :D and got 16pts

2nd shop
No7 Glossy locks x2 - BOGOF £6.25
hand saviour - £11
Free GWP
*Meal deal* - £2.68 (half price crisps and water)
chicken wrap
1ltr water
walkers sunbites crisps

Used half price walkers sunbites (ACM)
350pts WYB No7 bathing (ACM)
200pts WYB No7 suncare
Paid £20.19 and got 586pts

3rd shop (Made the mistake of going past the Elizabeth Arden counter!)
EA 8 hour cream set - £20
EA foundation - [strike]£19 [/strike] £7.10 (10% off make up and £10 off WYB 2 EA products)
Model me dry shampoo - £5.49
Model me styling spray - £0

Used Model me ACM voucher (but this is where the problem comes in)
250pts WYS £30
Paid £32.59 and got 378pts

Problems - The Model me voucher beeped several times and the SA eventually called the manager over who spotted they were on 2 for £9 offer. She voided off the spray so I had to pay the full £5.49  for the offer unlike the 1st shop I did when I only paid £3.51 for the 2 items.

Has anyone else had this problem or is it just me? I tried it in 2 stores and none of them would deduct £5.99 because they clocked it was on offer. Should I return it???

Also, when passing the EA counter looking at the 8 hour cream the SA said they have a set with the full size (50ml) 8 hour cream in a set with 8 hr hand cream and 8 hr body cream (both smaller than full size) in a lovely see through carry case with red handles for the same price as buying the full size cream on it's own (IYKWIM!) so £20. I then saw the save £10 WYB 2 EA items so I reasoned in my head that I would be getting a foundation for about the same price as I would if I bought a rimmel foundation (what I usually buy)

I'm a bit worried that I might have been too hasty and spent too much. When I was looking at the 8 hour cream she said the dreaded words, "this set is the last one we have in stock" and my bargain alarm bells in my head started ringing and I thought "it must be good, I have to buy it!" but would it have been cheaper if I bought it online from another website?

I also noticed on .com that there is a free GWP with EA but I wasn't offered it. Did they take it off because of the 10% offer?

Can anyone advise on either of the above?

TIA. x

The EA GWP has finished in store now and they have the £10 offer instead however I did see the old blue/pink boxes on display in Southport today they must have had some left over but there were no signs up so I'm not sure if they are still free with purchase. The bags with the three products are good value at £20 as TKMaxx have them for £25. Those bags are quite limited each season they do a different type. Not sure why the second model me did not go through as the first did, someone else might have experience of this!

was it you who spotted the "little me" baby glitch aswell?

the little me items were half price, then the 3 for 2 kicked in and we got 500 points for our purchases too.:) so we ended getting everything free i think :)
