When I was in Boots today they had lots of flyers up for 10% off all makeup (they had a picture of the No7 tinted moisturiser) from, I think, the 23rd May for about a week - wondering if the 10% off would count for the GWP? :) and for the ladies who get 10% off No7 already... maybe they'll get a double discount so potentially the GWP for a £16 spend... ?
;) One of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you! ;)

What magazine is this? Do you mean a mailing through the post? As the voucher was in a mailing a while ago and only a certain age mailing i think. :)

yes its the one which I had through the post, I did get some other PC vouchers but no Printer voucher, its the 3-9 months BB magazine.

Went to spend my last till spits today, and got:
No 7 Mens Anti Ageing Balm £11.50
    No 7 360 Mascara £11.00
No 7 Anti Ageing Anti Dark Spot Facial Sun Protection Free

    and gave:
    £5 WYS £20 on No 7
£3 off Mens No 7 from some mailing
200 extra points on No 7 suncare
    500 points on mascara
    300 points on mascara
    200 points on mascara
    Double points
    75 points WYS £10

So I paid £14.50 receipt says I saved £18.50, and got 1344 points.
All went through no problems, no beeps, so went back and did the mascara thing 3 more times, again with no problems. £44 worth of mascara for the princely sum of a £1. Each time got another till spit, and managed to get TD wipes. Pull up pants were reduced to 50p as well.

I know the current till spits end on the 20th but does that mean I can still use them tomorrow? Is that a really dumb question? Sorry!:o

ago but nothing could be done at all and it left me disappointed and reluctant to place an order online again-The lady kept saying maybe I can offer you a few points but it wasn't points I was after just a simple exchange:confused:

Thats just how I felt sonnee. I did want anything from them except my order, in good condition, the same condition as if I had bought it in the store. I don't think that is too much to ask at all. But apparently it is.

I wont go into details, but the impression I got was that the option to return to store or post was the acceptable one and what's my problem.:confused: The fact that the order was basically destroyed did not seem an important matter to them

I raised the issues of further orders in an email to them and there response? Sorry you dont want to place any further orders. So tough basically!! Like it or lump it. Boots.com your customer service does not encourage more customers or help to keep existing ones.

Katiaracat, presume doc has prescriped a narcotic (Codeine / morphine)? Plus checked for Lumbar Bulging or Herniated Disc?

My doc offered me paracetamol/codeine and that had no effect and then i moved on to morphine which helped. He was slightly miffed as it should control the discomfort greatly. Booked me for an MRI as I was in agony(and got stuck in the bed for 5 hrs one day which is not helpful as a single mum!), sleeping upright etc and thought there was a chance it may be connected to my crohns disease(seems alot of things are lol). Turns out it is Ankylosing Spondylitis which is 'related' to it, rather like asthma/excema tend to be 'related'. About 20% of people with inflammatory bowel disease and about 20% of people with psoriasis develop a form of ankylosing spondylitis (chronic inflammation of the spine that may gradually result in a fusion of vertebrae) and it can really feel like sciatica at first. Totally different meds are used for it.

Sorry to bang on, but it may be worth looking into further if her pain is not 'moderate' but 'chronic' as sciatia should be kept under control and bearable with paracetamol/codeine for any pain and ibuprofen for any inflammation.

I'll shush up now lol, but thought i'd say about it as I was in hell till I got my MRI and the correct medication etc after they detected that my spine has started to fuse.

Hi Katiaracat. This is the link you are looking for HERE It was posted by a AB_KW who is a Boots SA. The one who 'unmasked' Passion

You could also try this one here. Sciatica experiences

Good luck, I know what it is like to be in constant pain.

The best medication should be provided by your mum's GP.
