I hope your nephew is doing well and is still at the home where he wants to be.
KathyXX
Hi Kathy,
Nephew is still in 'home' and is determined to stay there (good for him) but his mother is determined to get him home, hopefully he will win the battle, my brother promised to go and see him yesterday and take him out to the pictures, nephew was soooo excited and phoned to tell us all he was going out with his dad ( a rare treat) but his mum decided she needed the car so brother did not go, and nephew was devistated   , B****y woman
Any hoo have had a really productive morning, hoovered whole house, moped floors, tidied bedrooms, DD's not too bad
, hung two loads on the line, another in the machine, made a bananna loaf, and prepared todays dinner, might do kebab style things on the BBQ, also made up enough rolls for DD's lunch for the next 10 days, and made up a sandwich for each of my work days, (have frozen them, and will get one out each night ).
Have just texted my friend to see if she wants to meet up, if not will go up and spring clean our bedroom ( please text Hannah
)
Pink1970, sorry to hear all your troubles, hugs to you xx0 -
One load of washing is on the line and another is in the machine.
DD has Sats so made her special breakfast - bowl Cheerios, then two Scotch Pancakes with syrup added on top and some strawberries and cream and a glass of orange juice.
DH is at work as is DD so it is nice and peaceful!
Looks like a nice day so trying to think of a suitable evening meal. Maybe potato salad or might try making my own tortillas and then stuffing them with onions, bacon and cheese as DD does not like spicy beans.
If I can tear myself away from the computer might try to make Twinks hob nobs.
Hugs to everybody."This site is addictive!"

Just a quickie (steady on, Squiggly
:kisses3:) to say hi.
Another lovely day and haven't got my kit on, especially for Squiggly......
Now there's an interesting mental image...!!!!!
Morning all,
(((((smokey, penpin, candygirl, mrsmix, pink1970, crazychik))))) and all the others who are in need...
Beautiful day here today, Fi27 I too will be [STRIKE]surfing MSE & drinking tea [/STRIKE]studying hard all day.... so you won't be alone
Oldest DD here with really bad tummy cramps today, middle DD had a bad head but is up & moving & going into school shortly. Already spent £52 in Asda (though I did get lots of fruit, veg, salad among that). Once I am done with placement/uni in about 3 weeks or so I will organise myself for meal planning/shopping again. Sent off for a Clubcard Plus application from Mr T's so I can preload it with month's budgeted money & get double points
Anyway, better get on, will pop back in later

Good morning!:hello:
I don't think we'll be doing much today  ,DH is still ill with the tummy bug and has gone back to bed (he's not going to get much rest though, as we've got roadworks outside this week:p ) and I still feel rather wiped out after having the bug last week. I was thinking of going to the baker's and paper shop later, but just realised both my sticks (I've got a "stout" one and a "pretty" one
) are in the car. This wouldn't normally be a problem, but because of the roadworks DS had to move the car (as his Dad wasn't up to driving) and it's parked in the next street, which feels like a million miles away this morning! I hadn't used the BM for some time - but am very glad of it today, as I don't think DH and I will want much to eat apart from some bread. Oh well, I did need to lose some weight - not the nicest way to lose it though:rolleyes:
It's a gorgeous day, so will be able to get washing done and dried outside at any rate, I'm so pleased even though hanging it up is difficult. It smells so much nicer when it's been dried outside
There are a lot of people needing (((((HUGS))))) today! Thinking of you all, really sorry not to mention everyone individually but haven't the energy today:rolleyes:
I'm wondering if DD2 will ask if I want to go to the shops with them today as the DGCs are so much better. I'd love to see them, but not sure I could cope with boisterous DGS today. Maybe tomorrow!:D
I'm off now to have a surf on MSE and then get the washing into the WM.
Best wishes

Hi there - I've just got back from all my errands; the weather is beautiful and I've put on a skirt in honour of it! Of course, I had to hunt out one because I'd put all my summer stuff away and now it needs to come back out. I looked in my wardrobe and suddenly got sick and tired of seeing all the winter stuff in there; the only problem is - I don't feel like going through wardrobes right now! Perhaps I'll feel more like it tomorrow.
RedRuby - thanks for the update about your nephew. How awful for him to be let down like that; I can hardly believe how horrible his mother is. At least he's where he wants to be; I really hope he stays there because he can build a new life and not have to depend on his parents; it'll be they who'll miss out, not him. I hope Hannah texts you - it's far too nice to spring clean a bedroom!
Good luck to Elona's DD with her SATs and anyone else who is taking them at the moment.
Well, I'd better go and do some real work; I'll pop back later on. Hope the sun is shining on you all!

Lol, there was me thinking I'd sneak that one through...!!!!
Mioliere, know what you mean about sorting wardrobes - think that is another thing on my "to do when Uni breaks up for the summer" list that is getting longer & longer!! Desperate need new wardrobe(s) as I just have one of those wood frame/canvas covered ones - and rather too much stuff..... I'd love to get a built-in one done, but not sure how expensive that might prove to be. May just have to be a couple of normal wardrobes instead.
Redruby - glad to hear your nephew is determined to stick where he is; as long as he can keep doing that there's nothing to stop him seeing his dad (as long as dad can make arrangements that don't depend on his wife...)Live your life until love is found, or love's gonna get you down" (credit to Mika!)

Fi27 - that's exactly what happens to my days!
By the time I've checked every possible website on the net, wandered round a bit, had some tea, checked out what's on tv, written a long and detailed list of what I need to do, had some more tea and re-checked my emails, it's pretty much the end of the day!
Hey Almo, Yep thats pretty much what i do!!! Even the wandering around bit and the list writing and the re-checking of the emails :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Oh dear am i on here again
better go and erm make a cup of tea.
I did do an hours study 10-11am so am quite pleased with myself

Morning all,
Weather lovely here to-day, 2 loads of washing done, at least one more to do. Both grandsons off school to-day so going to get them out away from the Xbox in a while and get some help in the garden.
Hugs to all in need or want
Have a good day

Hi all
just back to have a :coffee: and a catch up. Have been out in the garden for the past 2 hours and have loads of weeding done so feeling very :A
Bread is almost ready to come out the BM so will wait until it beeps before going back out again. DD2 has abandoned her gardening with me and has gone off with her mates. I don't mind really as she was digging great big lumps out of the grass and not many weeds :rotfl:Just the weeds in the path to tackle now then I can get into the raised bed to weed it out. Might actually get some more seeds planted today as well if I keep going at this rate.
Bread is now done so that's my cue to get going again.
See you all later
