Morning everyone,
I actually fell asleep in front of the pc last night trying to play catch up with the threads, i woke at half past two this morning and dragged myself off to bed and couldn`t sllep then
I`ll catch up eventually, hope you all had a great weekend and plenty of ((((HUGS)))) for anyone who needs one today.
The weather here is lovely and sunny and i need to spend a good bit of the day in the garden, yesterday we were out there all day and it looks very untidy at the moment, we needed to move our shed and had to take it completely to pieces as the window needed to be on the opposite side, the screws were very tight so we had to ring someone to help who bought a drill and an attachment to take them out.
The area needed some more slabs down for the base and the ones that were down already are not level  Never mind i have a wonky shed that i need to sort out and now i need to build a path to the place that the door has moved to. We had to empty the composter too (which was full to the top) to move that out of the way and now i have a garden full of bags of carp waiting to go back in it when we`ve decided where to put it.
It will get done eventually, we`re moving everything around to fit a green house in the garden to grow some of our own veggies but i think it will be next year before we get to do any proper growing.
Right i`d best run.
Have a good day everyone.
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon

Hi everyone - I've stopped for coffee. I have done almost all the chores and took on another one on whim. When we first moved here, DS2 was still living with us; wanted dark curtains in his room because he didn't like the morning light waking him up when he had his weekend lie-ins! All the curtains in the rest of the house are in shades of cream and his were dark blue. He left home ages ago and I kept the curtains up but they've been bugging me for ages - they make the room look gloomy. Anyway, I remembered that I had some brand new cream curtains from our last house so I've just put them up and it has made such a difference. I hate hanging curtains and was cursing all the way through it but I'm so glad I've done it. AND it didn't cost anything!
Fi27 - my days are like that! I think I've got all these hours ahead of me and they disappear at a rate of knots! I tend to get all the chores done first so that I can 'earn' spare time to please myself, then I end up pottering or reorganising something (like the curtains this morning!). I have ten squillion projects on the go and must learn to complete one before starting the next one. When it all gets too much and I end up walking round in non-constructive circles, I come back on here then I wonder where all the time went. It's so easy to get distracted, isn't it? I'm a great one for lists, too, but they just seem to get longer! I love having the house to myself, though.
Well, I'd better get myself organised to go down to the village and run some errands before I go to the gym.
See you all later.

Hello everyone!
Had a great day yesterday at London Zoo - although it turned out to be sooooo hot here in London yesterday so I was boiling in my UGG boots. Looked at the photos on the camera and decided that I really need to start losing weight now, so today is the first day of the diet! *groan* Had dinner out in Camden last night which didn't help matters.
Got work to do at home today and DH has a big audition for a film, so he'll be nervous all this morning. Plan to start ebaying all the clothes that were put in 'ebay' bags a long while ago. Bubble and squeak for dinner I think as I need to use up cabbage.0 -
Good morning!
Done all the chores that I'm going to, DW, WM on 2nd load, BM whirring happily, downstairs hoovered. Must have a think about dinner, prob be pies cos I bought one of the piemakers in TJ Hughes, bargainous £10!
Had a nice relaxing BH, pootled about with the children, met up with friends and found dd1 a beautiful prom dress, she is so happy with it! She does look scarily grown up wearing it though!
Have a lovely day all xxGC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -
Morning :hello:
3rd load of washing is on, another waiting to go in  It's sunny here so it'll all get dried.
The car insurance is being sorted today so mr tru is taking master tru out tonight  They'll spend the whole time arguing. Master tru has had 6 lessons with a proper instructor so of course he knows what he's doing and anything mr tru says will be rubbish
N9eav, that's an excellent way to plant seedlings, I'm going to steal your idea

A lovely sunny morning here today....but i'm feeling decidedly tired, youngest had a restless night so i had to deal with that along with the school run this morning.
Just put some mince in the slow cooker for dinner tonight, couldn't decide what to do with it so made it into bolognese mince, they can either have rice, pasta or potatoes with it then (probably all 3 knowing my lot).0
