I would just buy the blouses - it's just bad luck that it has fallen at this time of the school year.
  • my son is in year 7, just started high school. to begin with we had top buy the logo uniform from school, then we got a letter saying that because of new regulations the uniform was no longer for sale in school but can be bought from the uniform shop in town. same price.

i assume that some parents send their kids in ordinary jumpers/sweatshirts because the school has a strict policy that kids must remove all non-uniform items before entering the classroom. that means the coat for most kids, but for those in sweatshirts that don't have school logo it also means they must remove their sweatshirt before entering the classroom and can't wear it in lessons
