then it's back home, having some HM quiche for lunch, take the dogs on the beach (don't know why i take them down there, they never go in the sea!) then i suppose i'd better cut the grass  thats one job i HATE doing!

hope you all have a good one xx

    good afternoon all,
I'm having a bit of a rubbish day today. It was my turn to pay for the pub lunch. Which never puts me in the best mood. But it was my little boys 1st bday last sunday. Which signals the end of breast feeding for him. He's dealing with it really well. I ,on the other hand, am just feeling really dejected. I love breastfeeding and he's my last baby. I know feeding til a year is a little extreme to some anyway but no matter when you stop you suddenly start wondering if you'll mean as much to your little one as you did before. He's my 3rd so i should be used to it but alas i still feel rubbish.

    Hi PPM,

My friend is still breastfeeding her second baby (her DD is now around 18 mth). Maybe you want to think about carrying on for a bit linger? I only breastfed my DS2 until six month, as I couldn't do it for longer. :(

Another NSD for me today, as we are tied to staying at home. DS1 has chickenpox. I am hoping, that DS2 is getting it too, preferrably (sp?) tomorrow, as we are going to Germany at the end of the month.
DH came home last night. He said early afternoon, but didn't walk through the door until 6 ish. Very early!
Then he walked back out at 6 o'clock this morning, whilest the kids where screaming their heads of. Lovely!
And then he has to leave again on sunday lunch time. The joys of Armee life!!!
    Anyhow, rant over! :D

I am hoping to pop into Lidl's tomorrow, for a top up shop. I am trying to empty as much as possible of the fridge and freezer. The electricity has to be switched off.
Whilest we are in Germany, the plasterwork in the boys bedrooms is beeing re-done. It was all blown. So the last two nights, I was busy getting plasterwork off in one bedroom - great for letting your frustrations out! :D

I was going to hang the washing out, but it is raining! grrrr
I wish Germany had a website like moneysavingexpert!

    hi everyone,
not been on for 1 1/2 days and so much to catch up on! got to page 39 will try to catch up after work.
    a quick up date:
nsd yesterday yippee thats 3 this week.
oh wanted to get a cold beer and then I said get me some chocolate, but we talked each other out of it.
got to pay the milk man today, (4x bottles of juice, 7 pints of milk and two butters a week X 1 month = £40.82, I know thats a lot but its delivered. and really nice, and I pay when I've got the money so we don't have days when, no money = no milk. been there and its hard with two young kiddies.)
I have given up my other food luxury of organic veg box.
made some ice cream. yummie!! recipe off the index thread. with some cream i had that was going off that day. thats thanks to this forum and giving me a different mind set rather than just binning it.
    so feeling quite chuffed really.
I wrote out a list of what i've changed in our life to old style and simplfing recently & its quite alot.
    thanks everyone
    have a good day,
    lala

Raining???? Where are you? we have had lovely weather since before the bank holiday - 27 degrees today (sorry to rub it in):p

Any cheap and cheerful menu ideas anyone can think of? I have been looking on some in other posts and have a few ideas, but more are always welcome.

    Thanks guys

Just noticed I am now a convert and have a star!!!
(little things please little minds and all that:o )

Am starting my grocery challenge from Monday this week. So far, we have had 1 crusty loaf from bakers with 2 cheesecakes (DH off work for day and always messes up my NSD) £1.70. Also had our club's AGM on Tuesday so loads of committee talk and you have to wet your throat to do that:beer: so spent £14.40 (well, there was a lot to talk about!)
I take a box of cereal into work and have it when I get there as I can use their milk (cheeky eh!) plus I never have time at home (have to be in work at 7.30am), so it makes sure I get something decent to eat.
Pay day and shopping day today, so no chance of NSD today, will update later.

    morning, :)

nsd planned for today, our boss is buying breakfast and my mum's making my lunch!

had to get OH to get an emergency loaf last night, he'd finished it off without telling me and when i went to get some out of the freezer he said, "i ate it earlier" , well DUUUHHHH!!! if he'd told me it was finished tho i would have got some on my way home or had time to make some! muppet man!

planning on a bulked out spag bol tonight and i might try and sneak in extra veggies (looks like i've broken my colour again, i forgot i can't adjust it properly at work:confused: )
