I did this once when I was bought a very expensive foundation, cut it lengthways and it was amazing how much was left inside, I reckon I got another couple of weeks of it using it sparingly rather than just throwing it out because it no longer squeezed out:D0 -

Hi everyone!!
Hit Tescos at exactly the right time tonight-Whoopsies Galore-7.30 ish..
So wish we had another freezer..managed to squeeze in
2 x cheese and tomato pizzas 11p each
1 pack of pork sausages 22p
1 organic Cornish Pasty 37p
1 huge pack of Value Mushrooms 74p
Won't use any of these until June so I'll add them to that total.
Have only tried Rainchecks-or promise vouchers in Tesco-had no probs.
Glad to hear I'm not the only one who turns things upside down/cuts up tubes etc..
Mrs M-Enjoy all that lovely fruit. You deserve it. Hope it all works out ok for your sister.

Whilst in Asda today I noticed that both the mayonaisse and ketchup in their value range was no longer available.
So not only do we have price hikes but also the lower tier food range seems to be disappearing.
I always buy Asda smartprice beetroot and that has gone as wellThanks to MSE savings we got to go to Disneyworld Florida.

Evening all
Well i have more spends to add to my total.. got hubby to nip me to Lidl to get some water.. i stop buying it over winter but now i have given up SF pop completely..this will keep me happy and its only 19c for a 1.5litre bottle... has to be sparkling or semi sparkling
whilst we were there i went a bit loopy and so now hubby can just squeeze 4 bottles of beer in his "beer fridge" :rotfl: got:-- 36 bottles of water
- a canteloup melon
- a honeydew melon
- a pineapple
- a big chunk of water melon -they didn't have any whole ones
- peaches
- pears
- apples
- nanas
- more cottage cheese
- some tricolour pasta
- a bag of frozen peas
- oh and a tub of capuccino ice cream for hubby (i pinch a tsp off him when he has some and its gorgeous)
...
I was just about to go in search of the juicer (thought it was still packed away) then in my head i saw it in a cupboard and low and behold when i went and had a look -there it was :jthat saved some moaning and groaning:D its the spare one that must still be packed:p ..so tomorrow im having a huge glass of pineapple, apple, kiwi, and peach juice i think..followed by oats soaked over night with extra fruit n nuts nomnomnom..
Shaz_mum_of_2 ..thanks for that... you know what its like when you get it into your head that something is missing.... so now i can make it.. i will be good and only make 1 just in case its too nice

When I make seeded loaves I just make the dough in the breadmaker, adding the seeds when it beeps. Then I put it in a tin in the ovnand it turns out very edible. I usually time this for after ive done some other oven cooknig or to cook with somethin else to save gas. Im thinking of only using the BM to make dough actually as its a lot nicer done in the oven!Annual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults0
