Total spend so far is £204.83. I decided on salad for tonight as it's so warm and I didn't have any in.

Just a quickie cos I'm really pleased with myself - not spent a penny on groceries/food etc since Saturday!:T

Will try to see it through to Saturday this week when I will have to relent and buy some fruit and veg and dog chews.

Am really trying hard this month so fingers crossed!

  • good afternoon all,

Quick word to claire2305-I do mean tablespoons.i know it sounds like alot but since the mixture rises it spreads out well. But if your not as sure just dont put as much in. It really depends what mood i'm is as to how many herbs i use. Hope you enjoy it. It's really quick and easy so kids love helping with it too.

Thoughts to your sister and family MRS M i hope it all turns out well.

I'm having a bit of a rubbish day today. It was my turn to pay for the pub lunch. Which never puts me in the best mood. But it was my little boys 1st bday last sunday. Which signals the end of breast feeding for him. He's dealing with it really well. I ,on the other hand, am just feeling really dejected. I love breastfeeding and he's my last baby. I know feeding til a year is a little extreme to some anyway but no matter when you stop you suddenly start wondering if you'll mean as much to your little one as you did before. He's my 3rd so i should be used to it but alas i still feel rubbish.

PPMum, I know what you mean about having your little ones growing up, although I wasn't keen on breastfeeding. Haven't had my 3 yr olds curly locks cut yet and everyone thinks he's a girl, but I know I'll cry when he has to have a proper little boys haircut.

Sorry, back to topic, NSD for me.

    Hello all!

MRS M - thinking of you and the family, hope things go well for your sister.

I have broken my run of NSD today. Stocked up on deo, shampoo, conditioner, T Roll, Tissues, Kitchen Roll, sponges etc while in town at Wilko. Some were on offer but still spent £17.44. I haven't shopped since last Thurs and hopefully will only need milk tonight or tomorrow then will do a shop Sun/Mon.

Having my nails done tonight, we have a wedding on Sat so want them to look good. I have been stressed lately and went back to the old habit of biting them. I know its expensive but wanted a treat. ;)

Oh blimey, I'm only halfway through the thread, still another 21 pages to go  If I wasn't so interested in how everyone's doing and all the great new recipes I'd no doubt miss, I'd give up :D

We've done 2 big shops this month, one in Asda, the other in Sains and saved loads :T We've spent whatever it says in my sig :rotfl: from the GC, about £50 I think and the rest came out of our PMS money for things we didn't need but thought we'd stock up on. Happy days that we even had the savings to do this! It'll get taken off each month's GC as we use it up.

Right, off to read the next 21 pages :rotfl:Good job it's free bingo day ;)
