Heya JennyBee!
For some reason, we have been SOO good since Saturday when we both went shopping, with a meal plan in hand. We havent thrown away ANY food, and if there is any left overs, we are taking them for lunch the next day.
Also, it only seems that we cook for 4 on certain meals? Does anyone else get this? Things like shepards pies, lasagne, currys....... but if it is pork chops and veg, its ok...... weird I know!!
Hope everyone is having a good evening?!?

Oh please tell me how you get on because I have the voucher and keep thinking should I spend £25 to get £5 free when I don't really need £25 worth more of food not even for storecupboard but then to let £5 go....:rotfl: :rotfl: it is every day this week so my DS come up with he was going to buy loads of papers and keep going there and handing them in until I mentioned yes good idea but we have to pay £25 to get £5 off:rotfl: :rotfl:
It is everyday this week but the vouchers are for differant weeks - todays voucher is for next week.
I need to stock the freezer and I am sure I will be able to tie some items into my meal plan - hopefully they will have some things there so that it will even out over this month and next month for the £25Will keep hoping ......
I will get the other vouchers because they change their offers each week and the very week I don't have a voucher they will BOGOF everything I needJust my luck !!!
Will let you know how I get on.

Its not a product Id recommend reheating because of the filling. Only way to reheat this really is the grill or the oven. Its partly because these kievs are very "processed" that they go rubbery.
Thanks tashja0 -

DH is team leader tomorrow at work (they are thinking about making him a manager and he has on;ly been there for 10 days !!) so I thought I would send him with some goodies !!!

Just returned from a late night 'whoopsie hunt':D
Didn't really need anything but have managed to pick up some meat for next month - turkey breast joint big enough for 8 portions, 8 butchers beef burgers, 12 breaded chicken steaks, 10 chicken pieces in southern fried coating - all for £9.68. Plus enough fruit/salad for the rest of the week and bread for this week and most of next too. It's the first week that I have made a special trip for whoopsies and went to MrM and Mrsomerfield as these are nearest to me - will def do this again. Co-op is also nearish, anyone know if they are good for 'bargains?'
Still within budget quite comfortably as overspent last month and still using it up:rotfl:0 -
Evening everyone :hello:
Had my third MrT delivery of the month tonight. Total was £73.26 leaving £49.50 for next week's shop. I better go and update my sig.
Here's the recipe Tashja
Bounty Balls Recipe
These taste just like the brand name sweet and are very easy to make.
200g condensed milk
100g desiccated coconut
8oz icing sugar (approx)
8oz chocolate- Mix the milk and coconut together.
- Add enough icing sugar to form stiff dough
- Form small balls and leave to set on a tray until all the mixture is used.
- Place the tray into a fridge to set (over night is best).
- Coat the ball in melted choc and leave to set - minimum 4hrs.

1) can we have a medical report?
2) we've received it, thanks
3) can you come in to see us next month
The only other contact was us ringing when they hadn't paid his SSP on time.
No Occ Health or Welfare, unless you count me!
I know what you mean about the boards helping, thanks.
Hope it goes ok for you on half pay. Old style certainly helps on the money saving side of things, but not the wasitline with all these cake recipes:rolleyes:
I'm so sorry to hear that and sorry to hear that his GP isnt being supportive. I moan a lot about my work, but at least I can speak to my Welfare Officer. I'm sorry I cant give any helpful advice, but my brain is mush tonight. I might think of something tomorrow xx0 -
High Peak Lass-sorry off topic here but thought I'd add to the advice given by others about SSP.
Everyone is entitled to SSP for 28 weeks, when this runs out the employer must provide the employee with an SSP1 form telling them that they are no longer entitled to it. You can then apply for Incapacity Benefit if you are not well enough to return to work. It might also be worth checking if DIsability Living Allowance is applicable.
Hope this helps.
On-topic, thanks for all the inspiration guys-I am definitely shopping smarter since hanging around these boards!Remember to always be yourself-unless you suck. Joss Whedon0 -

GP is being OK at the mo but no help from anyone else.
Just concerned what'll happen if OH says he can't go back but doc thinks it's time he should. Been waiting for the counsellor since Jan and no luck there.
OH is going to talk to out friend tomorrow who is good at employment law and stuff and seeing forests for trees, so hopefully that'll help.
Off to watch waking the dead to cheer myself up.
Think i might be the one who needs help!Needs must when the devil vomits in your kettle..........0
