Well i have had a NSD :j ... as i have been out in the garden from 6am this morning until 2:30 pm  ...worked through lunch time without realising.. well that saved some food :rotfl: good job i made a juice and soaked oats for my brekkieobviously kept me going...
I have got so much done :T a few more plants to go out (when i get -yet more compost:o )... and then it will just be a case of looking after it all... then ..fingers crossed eating all of it :j ...
set some bok choi, misome, mizuma, komatsuna and giant red mustard salad leaves, more beans, and some greek oregano..and have some button mushroom spaw that my lovely mum sent me (from wilkos) that will be going into the basement tomorrow....
the melons have gone in the tent and i have concocted a network of string for it to climb on (have saved the nets from the oranges etc to make hammocks for the melons-assuming i get any)
If all these veggies don't thrive and save us a fortune im gonna have a wobble fit :rotfl:
right i had better get off and get a salad put together as the jackets smell about done :T ...
have a great evening everyone

Hi all.. well, spent another tenner since I last posted, but determined that's the last I'm going to spend till next weekend. Have to do a list of what's in the cupboards and some meal planning I think but should be ok - got a whole chicken to cook tomorrow, lots of veg/ salad, cheese, loads of rice and a mountain of bananas!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

Herb Quick bread
375g S/R Flour
1 cup Milk
1/2 Cup of water
1 egg
50g sugar
1 tsp salt
grated cheese (up to 140g )
4 tbsp dried herbs (your pref, i use oregano and basil)
Combine all ingriedients in a bowl and mix throroughly making a batter, pour batter into a small roasting tin (4"x9" i use), or whatever your using, and bake at 180c until cooked browned and hollow sounding if knocked on bottom, It takes 1 hour for the tin stated above and 25mins for muffin tins.
Hope you all enjoy and it helps on your way to target spends, considering the price of bread it realy does help to bake your own!

I went to Mr S yesterday to get a few household things, was very good and only bought what was on my list. Still cost me £18 though, i had my LO with me and didnt check my receipt til i got to the car as she wanted to have it. Anyway, Mr S in his cunningness had bounty 'printed' rolls on 2 for £1.99, i spent a couple of minutes comparing prices and this offer was cheaper than own brand stuff so i went for it, however what i picked up must not have been on offer even though it was in the middle of all the 'printed' rollsIt really makes me mad:mad: I have now spent nearly £6 on bl00dy kitchen roll:mad: Should i take it back? Will they let me take it back, cos i dont want to pay £6 for 4 kitchen rolls!!!!
Rant over:D
yeah so id take them back .always on the lookout for a bargin always better when its free!!:T0
