My sentiments exactly...
SFT, have to ask this silly question, but what is OB? I have guessed that MOC is money off coupons but I am stuck on that one?
Thanks,

Welll, a no spend week for me as far as groceries go:j . However, I've been feeling pretty rough for a few weeks with back pain and depression, just could not face cooking so have been having takeaways and meals out which OH has paid for. I really must get my act together.
I know how you feel, I had a fracture in one of my back bones after my son was born, the pain seems to be the only thing you can think about sometimes doesn't it? Standing cooking is not the best thing to take it away (ironing is worse!) but getting out and about as much as you can helps to keep the muscles strong to support the back. Don't feel bad about eating out, you have to do what you have to do.
Hope you feel better soon0 -
Hi Denise
Regarding your question-Well when I first came to this thread I thought OH meant old husband.. don't ask me why... so as I'm not married (yet) I thought OB could be used for my boyfriend (old boyfriend).
Then one day the penny dropped OH means other half...
By then OB quite liked his name so I kept it.

Evening everyone
Congratulations JennyBee:j
Not spent anything on food today as we've been busy in the garden doing some major work involving sleepers and a de-turfing machine!
Re the risotto rice question, I use either risotto rice (Arborio) or often use basmati. The arborio makes a gloopy texture but the basmati is drier. I put onion, sweetcorn and bacon in my last one.
Have a good weekend

Today, i found a really good source of free range eggs..and he was on my doorstep. A milkman from a local farm was collecting, whilst i was sorting out my garden. £3.50 for 30 free range large eggs, he reckons there are a few double yolkers in that, and he only charged me 50p for 4 pints of milk, he liked my smile (ho hum)Needless to say i will be smiling a lot if he continues at those prices:D
I know i can buy bog standard eggs a lot cheaper, but i do like free range eggs, the taste is fantastic.
so that is my spend for the day, £4.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -

It really makes me mad:mad: I have now spent nearly £6 on bl00dy kitchen roll:mad: Should i take it back? Will they let me take it back, cos i dont want to pay £6 for 4 kitchen rolls!!!!
