10past6 - I started making that carrot cake you listed a few weeks ago and we've really got into it as a 'cake substitute'. You may have difficulty getting the 'scanbran' though if you are not a member of sw. Some health shops sell it, so it is not that cheap. I might see if it is possible just to substitute bran in the recipe as it is mainly that anyway, pressed nto a ryvita shape.
    Hi BB

I came across this which may be easier for me to make, although it's not a SW recipe:

A tiny loss of just 0.2 lbs this week, starting to feel frustrated. That's only 0.8 lb loss in 2 weeks!
Must keep telling myself it's all in the right direction, but I'll never get to my June target like this!

hi all. Everythinggood now, all talked about, oh v contrite and says he has behaved very badly, and he ought to have a taken a few days outwhen this first kicked off. only drawback is we celebrated with an orgy of booze and ice cream last night which was very bad indeed but very fun. 10past six, I'll try and post later with some cooking tips becasue i do lots and lots of it. The recipe you've posted above looks easy, but there's a lot of oil and sugar in it which i'd avoid if i were you.

Oh KPC, that's fantastic news, really happy for you! S** the icecream/booze!
TBH, our gas and elec are a bit of a mystery to me too, especially as we are still not on their lowest tariff (despite repeated demands to be ). I'm keeping a close eye on it though as we're due to change but can't believe I'll get it any lower...

Will try and catch up with the weekend stuff soon, want to be out in the garden now :D

    Hey all

Right then - it's a 0.25lb loss here. Only microscopic changes in fat, water & muscle and this is probably the closest I've ever come to a maintain!

The problem is, I ought to be able to maintain by sitting on my backside doing nothing every day and chomping through 1500 calories! When in fact I was exercising 6 out of 7 days and eating only 1200! *inserts swear words*

OK strop over, deep breath, and on the bright side at least it wasn't a gain as it HAD been up almost 4lb during the week :p I am sticking to the same plan this week - 1200 with exercise, and hopefully will prove to myself that this week was just an anomaly  *cross fingers*

    I still have 1.25lb to lose ([STRIKE]by Wednesday[/STRIKE])

Off to read the new posts since last night now :D
