Hi Sue-uu and welcome. This thread is great. Haven't been on here long myself but already feel like part of the gang. I've even got a virtual mum (wendy) so welcome to the family!
    I would if I could but I can't so I won't!

    Hi Sue

I 'lurked' for ages before joining, in fact I'd finished losing weight before I was brave enough. These guys are really great (as you've already figured out) and they help me to keep on track and not put my weight back on.

Stick around, your stone will disappear before you know it.

    FFM :)

Thanks so much FFM, it's one thing being brave enough to come on, but quite another when the welcome is so friendly. I do hope I can shift that weight, I know it isn't a massive amount (though it is from what I was some years ago), but - truth be told - I could possibly lose a little more!

Thank you too wendy, good to know I'm not the only lurker, though I think most of us are a little hesitant when it's something knew, human nature I'm sure. Thanks so much for the luck, I'll need it!

    Many thanks both.

Sorry tagz, you weren't there just now (obviously!) Thanks a lot for the welcome. That's so sweet to hear about you with wendy, things like that are wonderful and turn a thread almost into a second home. I'm feeling at home already with you kind folk. I knew I recognised your name - from the RFL thread - good luck with that!

    Thanks again.

welcome bekk and sue, i'm sure you'll have fun on here. Vix, have you looked at the supermarkets? Tesco usually have some lovely dresses that could be dressed up, as well as matalan.

waiting to go to the minor injuries clinic later this morning. Seem to have suffered very nasty allergic\reaction(read burn) from hair removing cream. Oh if only it was my underarms. *shifts uncomfortably in seat*

Want a wii!! Want one! little bro says wii fit is dead good, and my friend has actually damaged his hand playing guitar hero. He's also considering installing laminate flooring inthe living room so he can slide around on his knees.

Ajax~~ Can i ask if you think it would be suitable(even just bits) for someone with slightly didgy balance & coordination?
DS would like it & if I could use even just a wee bit of it then I might think about it!
Did you enjoy the yoga then?

..... quite a lot of it is dedicated towards balance and posture beanie so if your problems can be improved upon then I'd say it would be especially great for you. Even if you can't do anything about that, then there's plenty more stuff there for you.

    Hi sue and bekki

Its sounding good i must admit. I even searched a price for a wii console! Might have to take a trip to kelkoo, via quidco of course

.....I was wondering about this the other day. Kelkoo/quidco is great for getting the 2p, but if you go through quidco to kelkoo and then onto the retailer, then you wouldn't get any discount would you? For example, going quidco->kelkoo->tesco would get you 2p, whereas going quidco->tesco would get you 7% off. Or do I understand it wrong?

I looked online for them vix and couldn't see them in stock anywhere. I think the best bet is the dedicated game shops.

    Hi,
Im new to this site and am just amazed at the help ,support& tips cool people on here offer...I hope someone can help me with a website to look at or anything to be honest....
My 17 year old son (18 on saturday) is 6ft 7 and desperately needs to loose aprox 8-10 stone as quickly(but healthily etc) as poss....
He was a very, very active lad until 2 years ago ,actually more 3 now..Hes a strapping young man(blinkin awesome if im honest)and all the muscle has turned to fat.Hes so unhappy and pretends everythings cool!!
His self confidence is (i think)0 although he does still flick his hair around.( up there somewhere)sorry its sounding really depressing...
He rarely goes out although still pops over his mates.I feel part of the problem is hes had a huge growth spurt and because he doesnt do much ,is uncomfortable with his new height.
Ive tried everything i can to help with healthier meals etc & hes keen to do it.
BUT!! he is so self aware he wont exercise outside/gym etc.. & he responds better to incentives & knowing the diet etc will defo work..
Ive thought about paying a stunning blonde to walk past everyday to encourage him but hed only bore them with "Do you know your Liverpool FC Stats?:DANY IDEAS!!!!! Anything!!!!!!would be forever grateful ..Thanks..:(
