Welcome Peke & fab on being debt free.
When you reach your target weight with Sc Slimmers you get a 'danger' weight of 7 lbs more than your target weight. This means you can attend at class as a target weight member as long as you dont go over the so called 'danger' weight ~it was explained to me that this is to take into account natural fluctuations with weight that occur in our daly lives.
HTH someone.
So for me though ive finally got to my so called target weight after adjustng it slightly I would still like to loose a wee bt more. But the good thing is I can still fluctuate upwards if Ive not having a good week which is great for me.

I think at the end of the day I dont know what to do with myself, I am scared sh**less I will fall off the wagon and gain big time, and ruin all the hard work. (like last time) But likewise I look at myself and although sometimes I see the differences and the changes other times I still see a fat person looking back at me, I have even asked MrS to point out people I am now the same size as, when out shopping, as I keep thinking I am bigger. I point to bigger people.
Back later, have a good day all
x
Oh Suggs, I really felt for you when I read this part of your post. Although I am not even half way there yet I sometimes have dreams where I havn't lost any weight at all and am too fat to even get out of my bed (like the ones you see on tv)! It truly would be one of my worst nightmares!
I think/feel that now that you have lost the weight physically you have not lost it mentally yet! I am not sure how to go about doing that.
I know that my mental image of myself is a lot different than my actual appearance. But mine is backwards which is how I managed to get 20 stone overweight!I guess when we manage to marry up our "minds" with our "actuals" we will be able to go forward.
After reading this over it all sounds a little convoluted but it sort of makes sense to me so I shall post it up - just in case it helps.:p
Big hugs to you Suggs - you have helped so many on here with your support and good cheer I just wanted to attempt to make you feel better about your self. :j

Im just rubbish at keeping up with this thread
Had a busy weekend last weekend with a group from another forum I use coming to Glasgow for a 'meet' that kind of kept me busy for a few days.
Then this week I was away with a special someone to a rather nice 4 star hotel.
Ive been doing my best to keep to my points where I can but Lord knows what the scales will say this week lol
I lost 2lbs last week, which I forgot to post so Ill add that to next weeks.
Im now going back to catch up on about 12 pages of posts...wish me luck0 -
Having trawled through the loads of pages I've only got time for a quick update.
Core plan has gone pear shaped the past 2 days as I finally shifted offices today. My friends took us out for dinner last night and there was a lovely little "tea" for us at lunchtime today by the department opposite us. It was very nice but not conducive to diets core or otherwise....And to be honest, just made it harder to leave...TOTM meant that I was much more emotional than was necessary and found myself having a little blub once or twice this afternoon.... try explaining that to your new colleagues!
So yesterday and today have been a write off - back to plan again tomorrow.
Sorry, forgot to say, welcome new posters - I don't think I'm normally so down, just give me a day or two to get over it!Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.0 -

Right Then Smile Time MeThinks
GREAT TRUTHS ABOUT GROWING OLD
1) Growing old is mandatory; growing up is optional.
2) Forget the health food. I need all the preservatives I can get.
3) When you fall down, you wonder what else you can do while you're down there.
4) You're getting old when you get the same sensation from a rocking chair that you once got from a roller coaster.
5) It's frustrating when you know all the answers but nobody bothers to ask you the questions.
6) Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician.
7) Wisdom comes with age, but sometimes age comes aloneProud Member of the Lose Weight Thread on I Wanna..................
