reporting in with a fully deserved 1.4kg gain. think i've gained back what i've lost so far this month! Still, there's always next week. I think i needed to see the gain to kick me back onto plan. Seeing as I'm planning to go it alone, can anyone send me an excel template? I'm just wanting to record my weight in kilos and have a graph, nothing too exciting!

Delly, a 3lb loss for me please. The chart isn't quite accurate though, my total loss is only 43lb including this week.
  • Hi Everyone
Just logged into say 1LB loss. I have found it really hard this week as there have been birthday cakess and treats being brought in at work. What do others do when cream cakes keep being offered. I've explained to my boss I am trying hard to shift some excess but whilst she makes sympathetic noises she tells the other workmates she has not brought stuff in because of me then brings - chocolates, cream cakes, jaffa etc etc. I have resisted for a few weeks but last week my resolve weakened and I had fresh cream eclair AND a vienese split on the same day! Now I feel she will pressure me more to eat as she will say but you had some last time. (I'm going to tell her I put on this week and not admit to a loss.)
I have managed to up the walking. 140.5K stepts on Sat and Sun 6.5K on Mon and 11.5K yesterday.
    WL 11 st 5lb as at 050109. 160209 11st 2lb
    11st 5lb as at 20.04.09 11st 7lbs 040509 11st6 010609 I wish 2016 175 lbs.

Well done ajax :j see! I told you so!...

...Still waiting for the Rafa match that was scheduled 2 days ago, only 2 games managed late yesterday, grotty weather in Paris too...still, the rain here has really boosted the growth of the tomatoes, courgettes and french beans that we planted in tubs a couple of weeks back :j together with all the herbs :j MrP has back problems so most of our garden is paved/gravelled but we find planting in tubs to be very successful :j ...

...Now, re the feeding of wild birds - I was once told not to put nuts etc out at this time of year as they can choke young chicks, don't quote me on it, but to be sure I no longer put anything out in spring/summer as there is plenty of natural stuff about...

...I know there is something else but my brain is a bit frazzled, so I'll just say 'Welcome' to the most recent newbies whose names have completely gone out my head :rotfl: sorry, but you are very welcome :T ...

...I'll go now and round up the brain cells :rotfl: ...syl...

    xxxx
I wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latter :p but my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!

One of the hardest things with maintaining is that at the end of the week you are trying to STS. There is always a slight feeling of disappointment at not having lost anything. After a year or so of losing, it is difficult to change that mind set that 'losing is good'.

I think that I am working just as hard trying not to lose any more whilst not putting any on. It is a very mixed bag of emotions. A feeling of having succeeded but that it could be snatched away if not watched closely.

I'm not sure if I will ever truly relax about food.

    FFM :)

That is absolutely right ffm spot on, there is always a slight disappointment at not loosing anything and a feeling of what wasthe point in watching everything to not loose but then again no watch= gain in this house so I have to watch it constantly. I agree with the mix bag of emotions, what you have writen sums me up completely:D

bb I hope you can find an answer that suits you and yes your OH is very important person but so are you;)

0.5lbs up for me this week. It's more of a balancing out than a gain, I think, because I had lost 8.5 lbs in the previous 2 weeks. I am not making excuses just trying to rationalise the small increase!!!
