Evening All,
I've been sick this week - and still am :-(
Everything (for example simply standing up) has become a HUGE effort as my energy levels are so low - despite sleeping for over 12 hours a night  Not good!
I thought I would subsquently be a gain this week however it seems not - I'm pleased to report no loss or gain this week.
Hopefully see an improvement next week!"Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?" (Douglas Adams)0 -
Mark: haha. He is a fab boyfriend. He did look bored after half hour in primark, then he complained that i said we would go and get lunch at 12, and then it was 1. Men like that mark, dont come along every day!
Im gunna start my diet today. Asked my mum about getting me some freshly squeezed juice, that lead to a half hour discussion on the cost of food yada yada yada. So i do sympathise with sophie, its never easy eating what someone else likes instead of yourself!
My masks came today for the masquerade ball im going to on saturday. Hope the weather holds out for it. We had some horrible storms last night, it woke me up so at 1am i was watching it out of the window. It was really lighteniningy!
have a good day folks, im off to play a game. Ive got so much to do today but no doubt i'll only so 10% of it!!0 -
Morning all!
Just as expected I am reporting a 1lb gain. Not too upset though as I did think it would be more! Back on the wagon and not feeling too bad.The_Dragon wrote: »Hi folks can I be put down for a 5.5 lb loss please! oh and my total loss to date should read 24.5 as of this morning please!Well done! So what you've got more to go - this is brilliant - enjoy the praise!
I would if I could but I can't so I won't!0 -
Morning peeps, thanks for your kind support, much appreciated. The good news is that I have achieved a sts this week, which is a great start as only yesterday I was heading for another gain. I'm now looking forward to the next week to see the results of the menu tweeking. Only blip will be Mr bb's birthday on Friday and his parent are taking us out for lunch, which is very nice but both of us really want to see losses this week and are very weakwilled if the words 'banoffee pie' appear on a menu:o . The only birthday pressie OH wants is to reach his 1st stone in the next week. He couldn't care less about his birthday so we're going to see if we can keep to a pact to support each other to not go OTT with the lunch. He's lost another 3 lbs this week, so that's 12lbs in 4 weeks which is very very good.
Didn't make it to the health walk this morning - a rubbish night with little sleep + massive thunder storm and torrential rain. If the sun comes out later we're going to go for a walk by ourselves instead.
Have a great time in Holland bails. I'd love to make it to Amsterdam one day.
Dragon - that is a fantastic loss, well done you.
Procrastinator - sabotager's like your boss do make me angry - what's going on for them that they try and insist you have cream cakes? If it's your mum you can at least understand they are confusing eating their food with how much you love them... but a boss? Surely it pays a boss to have staff that are as healthy and fit as possible.
Glad the veg growing is a sucess pet. Commiserations dragon. My salad leaves are looking a bit tragic this morning.
Efrieze you are right - 0.5lbs is just a balancing out after a fantastic loss in the last 2 weeks.. And well done ajax. Going to try your canelli bean mash tonight kpc with steak.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

Thanks Ajax - I will confess to being a chuffed Dragon at the moment!
Oh and as a side bar - Dr Dragon may have an interview coming up, with a company OUT of the city centre! Less stress all round (they actually stated they want someone who wants to escape from a stressful job - so everyone keep what ever crossed please! :rotfl:)

Thanks Bb x
I have to share this with someone before my head explodes. We have a guy at work here who isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer but he's harmless enough and polite so he gets a fair bit of help. The boss gave him a 'project' of making a tiny Excel file for recording standard results.... so he did that and stored it down deep in the folder system of our network. After eventually finding it and reviewing it I showed him how to create a shortcut to prevent all the clicks, so he could access it any time from his desktop. He's created his shortcut... and left it in the same folder as the original sheet, right next to the sheet icon. I dunno whether to laugh or cry.0
