Morning all!
Just as expected I am reporting a 1lb gain. Not too upset though as I did think it would be more! Back on the wagon and not feeling too bad.Well done! So what you've got more to go - this is brilliant - enjoy the praise!
Sorry for the 1 pounds on - and thanks for the smiley mob! (hmm if I only had the number of pounds to lose that there are smileys in the mob I would be an even more chuffed Dragon :rotfl:)Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Hiya gorge peoples
Congrats everyone reporting in with a loss/STS! Special mention to THE DRAGON!!! What a terrific loss! Tell me that's not ALL down to scrabble! :rotfl:
ARGH the weather! Had so many hopes for this week but it's not really happening, plus son is being totally lazy and doesn't want to do the things I suggest , but I'll let him off as we all deserve a laze around sometimes
Bails, probably too late for you to see this but have a fantastic time in Holland! Great result about the spa day too, hope that continues!
KPC I think my Excel spreadsheet would be more of a hindrance than a help as you're looking for something simple :rotfl: but yell if you get stuck as it wouldn't take me long to make one up for you (and hopefully that gain is the easy on, easy off type!)
Oh Procrastinator... that's harsh for you. If it was me I'd explain to my boss that while I appreciate the thought, and don't expect anyone else to go without, it would really help me if they didn't put pressure on to join in every week - though occasionally I would allow myself one. Put the emphasis not on your denial, but on what they can do to help you. Could you bring in something else to nibble on while everyone else is tucking in to the cakes? Some people don't think do they - I got given a massive box of chocs last year as a thank you for something, from a friend who knew very well I was trying to lose weight
I was wondering what had happened in the tennis Petrichor! Hope that match gets underway today then!
PinklippyGet well soon, forget about losing weight until you're feeling much better, your body needs the calories to fight off whatever it is.
BB glad you're OK! Well done to you and MrBB. Just a suggestion and it probably wouldn't work, but could you and his family do something other than a meal on Friday if it means being picky about what you'll be eating? I asked for my birthday meal to be put "on hold" until I feel I'm in a position to eat whatever I want when I do go, and my family understand that (though my snail's pace means it'll probably be someone else's birthday before we get around to it!)
I've had two rather 'relaxed' days Monday and Tuesday, over my cal allowance and little exercise, so it's back on track as from today. Hopefully I haven't done a huge amount of damage and can at least STS this weekthen get back onto it when kids are back at school.

I have to share this with someone before my head explodes. We have a guy at work here who isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer but he's harmless enough and polite so he gets a fair bit of help. The boss gave him a 'project' of making a tiny Excel file for recording standard results.... so he did that and stored it down deep in the folder system of our network. After eventually finding it and reviewing it I showed him how to create a shortcut to prevent all the clicks, so he could access it any time from his desktop. He's created his shortcut... and left it in the same folder as the original sheet, right next to the sheet icon. I dunno whether to laugh or cry.
LOL! One of my programming lecturers at uni used to work as on a Tech Support line for some Scottish Primary Schools and he was full of shocking stories re: ppls complete lack of IT awareness. This is my fav one....
A teacher called him complaining about a problem she was having with a floppy disc (as in a real "floppy disc" - remember the 80s?). He went through some troubleshooting ideas with her - to no avail. At a loss as to what was wrong he asked her to post him a copy of the floppy disc so he could have a look at it himself. A few days later a photocopy of a floppy disc arrived by mail :rotfl: Funniest thing is - in her ignorance photocopying it she had zapped the disc making it completely unusable! You couldn't make this stuff up!"Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?" (Douglas Adams)0 -
Dilemma.
Have (or will have by end of day) accrued £100 odd in my paypal account. Do I be really good and put it towards a cc debt or do I buy Wii fit from Play.com????
Does anyone have Wii fit? Is it that good? I don't get much chance to get out and exercise but was hoping this might be a good regime that I can do indoors. Or do I say don't be silly - there is always the dog and your CC debt is calling?:rolleyes:0 -

.... depends. If the debt is 0% then I'd be having the Wii Fit.Annie021063 wrote: »Does anyone have Wii fit? Is it that good? .... either of them would be better than leaving it in the Paypal account which is neither reducing the debt nor giving you Wii Fitty fun
A few of us have Wii Fits on here Annie ..... theyyyyy're grrrr-eat! They work too - last night I ran for 12 minutes.... there are no other circumstances in the world where that would have happened0 -
Sorry to be a killjoy Annie but my gut would be the CC debt. That said, it depends how much you owe/how hard you've been working on it, as everyone deserves to have some treats along the way so they don't go insane.
Thanks BB and Missy, think our tent will get washed away! Cant talk as need to get ready for OH's final exhibition but fab, fab loss Dragon, SO pleased for you! Good luck to everyone, hope to post before I go but a million and one things to do...The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Annie, not if you're going to pay £119.99 on Play.com! Mine cost £69.99.
Do you know anyone who has one that you could have a go on before you make your decision? I'll warn you though, everyone I've demonstrated mine to wants one or has bought one!0 -
