Mark, I was going to type everything that missy did.... but then noticed she did it first
For consistency, do what you've always done. My weighing is done nekkid first thing in the morning on a hard floor. The Wii fit sits on a carpeted floor and is usually played with at least some clothes on and after at least some food. I'd never try to compare the two.0 -
missyg hey never thought , wonder what the doctor thought I was up to on here , something naughty I suspect , must put him right next time I go LOLl:T Never Too Old to learn :T0

Hi Kat - the chart is posted on Wednesdays, and Efrieze is the current monitor. It's shared between a few people who take it in turns to do it for a month at a time. You can weigh any day, all you need to do is make sure you post it in big bold colours.

Thanks Lois. I'll weigh myself tonight at the gym (running and swimming!) and post tomorrow morning.0 -
Wendy - Well Mum if you want to look at something naughty on the internet here you are.............

Hello peeps, been feeling very discouraged vis a vis maintaining. Won’t formerly weigh in until tom morning but was lying in bed last night facing 1lb on for each of the last 4 weeks
and my trousers feeling too tight . I was trying to work out what had changed in the last month, because I had been doing ok up to then. Kerching!!!! Penny drops that it is exactly 4 weeks since OH joined me on SW. So I’m sure the clue’s in there somewhere. I think I’ve been so busy making sure he ate well and had enough that I’ve ended up eating more than I did before, particularly more green days. So with this new knowledge I am hoping to look after what my needs a bit more and to see the difference in the next week. I felt really miserable too about how difficult it is for me to exercise – that would make such a difference. Have walked a bit more to day and might try a walk tomorrow depending on weather, but the frustration sometimes is demoralising. I have to be so careful not to over do it, so getting the balance between pushing and heroically holding back and accepting passivity is a constant tight rope walk.
HM curry tonight and both HEb’s left to have by bedtime.
I know 4lbs doesn't sound much but it difficult to get off at this end of the game and it begins to cross the divide between size 14 and up to 16 for me, and I don't have lot of options up my sleeve because of health issues.
Worry not peeps, cheerful service will soon be resumed I'm sure...:oI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
And so you should be:D I am pleased to hear that you don't have to have 2000cals per film as I AM OFF to see sex and the city tomorrow night and can't wait, the very few times I have been I take my own diet coke or a bag of snack a jacks or some ryvita crackers to nibble on, I KEEP what I would have had in a normal day but make it last longer in the day by taking it with me so I know that I have not exceeded the cals per day but have something there to eat if I want it as OH tucks into the sweets or whatever:D0

I hope your theory is right, it certainly sounds plausible! You and I are both new to maintaining and there is bound to be some element of experimentation - it would be a very lucky person who lost all the weight and then had a smooth transition to keeping it off! Look at it as a positive thing, you're learning what makes you tick and the more knowledge you can garner at the beginning, the better off you'll be long term
I know how I feel if I'm prevented from doing exercise when I want to - and that's just temporary for me, it must be a million times tougher for youI obviously don't know what it's like to be in your shoes but I can truly understand what you're saying (and the need to vent sometimes), and I so wish things could be different

BB: It could also be that having no goal other than to sts could make a difference? Knowing you dont have to lose a lb ect sub consciously could result in you eating a bit more or doing a bit less? It must be hard to go from losing to staying the same. I think i would be diamond at it, its just the losing the weight in the first place i have trouble with!
Ive had a really poor day food wise again. Toast with anchor spreadable, followed by a KFC for lunch and a korma for dinner. Im now eating some malteasers but ive had a major pang of guilt so ive stopped.
BUT, i did do 5 hours of shopping with my boyfriend! Got some really nice heels for saturday, a top, some jewellery, two skirts, a top, knee highs and footsies and a bikini from la senza only because its padded and the briefs with it were free!! I love FFM's town for shopping!! 5 hours of constant shopping must have burnt off some calories! *i hope*
I soo have to get myself into this weight loss regime. Im gunna have to dig out some really old photos of myself and make myself feel so crap that i wanna take action. Im just being a lazy bum.
The apprentice is on tonight! V excited.
TAGZ: thank god i dont like cake! I would be in real trouble if i did i think!!0 -

Yes it is so tough sometimes not to have the life I would choose and to have so many choices curtailed. I do try and approach this as creatively as possible and search out nuggets of opportunities that I can achieve a little of which is better than nothing, and in better phases enjoy each day as it comes. But sometimes I need to wail - thanks so much for understanding that.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0
