Jules as everyone else says ... looking good! I think your eyes look bigger in the 'after' photo, or have you learnt to be a genius with makeup?

It's p*ssing down in NW London, a great day to stay indoors and do housework. (So I'll be reading a book.)

    Hi missyg

Well done and congrats on the loss :j

I've been pondering your large (comparatively speaking) gains that occur overnight/within a couple of days, have you checked your scales? are your batteries a bit low? My old set used to fluctuate wildly when the battery was getting a bit low - just a thought, because I just can't see how anyone's weight can increase so rapidly - surely the science just doesn't add up???

I realise that when you introduce steroids etc that is a bit different.

Another thought I had was that your body has become just so damn efficient - it can do anything with negligible calories  . Great for the GC.

You're right that if I can do it so you should be able to too, you're younger than me (I'm guessing here), about the same height, exercise like a loon, slightly higher BMI, taking in less calories - I'm afraid that I am a very analytical person - so it should add up.

It's nice that everyone here is supporting you and cares.

When I was in my 20's I used to do loads of cycling - did the London to Brighton a few times, I was a nice sturdy 9 1/2 stone in those days - with calves cyclists can only dream of :rotfl: . I used to do 20 miles before work - just for fun - the ladies I worked with thought I was bonkers (I do too now that I am older - what was that all about).

BF my kids was great - I'm sure you could allow a minimum of 1000 additional calories a day, could eat like a horse and still lose weight.

    FFM :)
ps - doesn't Ajax eat big sandwiches

I was booking tickets for PinkPop in Holland Dragon, managed to get them just as my friend turned up! Scary having to shell out so much money but it's money I've saved ths year so got to remember that. Now to book flights/trains etc... We're going because Rage against the Machine are playing, proper blast back to my teenage years, and bizarrely to OH's too. I'll get excited about it once I get over the planning stages :D

    Welcome Sophie :)

Delly! Grrrrrrrr! It's raining here and bitter cold cos of biting 40mph winds.

Missy, sounds like a plan with watching it 'as live' I'm too indisciplined though (talking baseball on 5 here) and just end up going to mlb.com :D

And yes, I do like a good sandwich missy & FFM :)

    Bails, where in Holland?

    Car Insurance Carver!
Well I am back for day 2!

I have bought a smoothie maker ( 2nd hand as moneysaving!) and loads of fruit off one of those drive buy garden stall thingys :)

I am going to attempt to make veg soup tonight and have found quite a simple one that even I should be able to do lol.

I am feeling really positive and am looking forward to my first weigh in :)

To the lady that has lost 4 stone - what an inspiration!
