The main reason I went to the Drs yesterday was because of tiredness/exhaustion, I will be having a blood test to check out all sorts.
Although I'm not much of an exerciser (esp compared to you - but then who is :rotfl: ), I went to the supermarket today by cycle - OH fitted my panniers on and I took DD's rucksack - it limited my shopping - good for GC, and doubled up as a 'work out'.
I'm really getting into the cycling at weekends for trips where I would previously have taken the car, great for keeping those ever rising fuel costs down too.
Also means I am worrying less about the little extras I now eat - but I am still keeping a close eye on them.

Well done on the exercise AND keeping your shopping bill down - I hope everything is okay Doctor wise!Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

OK I've decided to bite the bullet and put up a couple of photos of me!The first one was taken just a week after I started the diet and the second was taken last night after 8 months and just over 4 stone lost. It was also the first time I had worn a dress or skirt to any family occasion for about 8 years.
I have got some others but haven't had the chance to play with the sizing yet!
Well done you for taking the plunge! 4 stone :T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T well done again! and another well done for being in a frock!Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Probably try and camp cos ive only ever done it once when i was a teenager, getting drunk and then the locals walkign over at midnight having a go at us for being too noisy. Haha, first time id acted like a chav.

Hi everyone..... I am about to start my first ever diet.... am trying slimming world... my partner and I both need to lose a bit of weight.... me only about a stone and a bit... him about 2/3 stone I think.
Can I join you on here please?!2012 wins approx £11,000 including 5k to spend on a holiday :j0 -
Hi Kit and welcome!
It looks as though I'm the only one up so I'll answer your question - of course you can join in!!! This is a great place to be with such amazing advice and tips to help you/us all along. You won't go wrong and you can relay it all to your hubby. Good luck to the both of you in getting to your desired weights. Weigh yourself once a week and put the amount you lost in large 1LB (larger font) writing so it can be seen easily. If you've stayed the same then a simple STS in large red type will be all that's asked as it makes it easier to be seen for whoever does the sheet each week.
All the very best and I sincerely hope you both achieve your goals.
Sue
