think i've finished my presentation for work thank goodness. working from home today thanks to nasty rash(oh the blissful pot of sudafed) so logged on to my own laptop to have a bit of a rest. Just been on the sw website to check out hte syn count of my lovely health bars that i'm stocking - all made with fruit and nuts and no sugar and low fat and all that stuff. 5 syns for a 30g bar. yowch! i might suggest they get in touch with sw, i reckon they might be a worth a healthy extra but i have no idea how to work it out. did i mention i broke the oven at the weekend too? trying to all old-style, decided to clean the oven with bicarb of soda. With no real idea of what i was doing i i followed the rather vague advice of wet the oven and sprinkle the powder on to form a paste. The nice oven mending man has just finished chipping the coating of concrete soda off the burner and taken £30 for the privilege. No more oven cleaning for me, now it stays manky.

Hey all, a 3.6 lb loss for me this week! :j Really pleased as I was dreading going back over the 15 stone mark. Now at least I have a little safety net :rotfl:only 9.6 lbs to lose for my June target! :D
A friend at work come round today with a bicycle she doesn't use, it needs some work doing to it, brake cables & the like, but should be handy until my step-dad comes down with his for me in June.

Oh brilliant Raph!!! if necessary you might not need the one from your step-dad!

As it's free I'm going to make him struggle down on the train with it :rotfl: then keep whichever I prefer & sell the other for how much I have to pay to repair this one! :D

Would anyone mind me joining this thread?
I've already lost lots (see sig) but I'm still aiming at losing another 16lb before September as that's when I'm getting married. I'm currently a size 14 in trousers and a size 14-16 in tops, but my wedding dress is a solid 14 so I have to lose quite a few lbs before the zip will do up. My mother keeps trying to talk me into buying a bigger dress but I'm being stubborn and refusing to be beaten. I WILL wear a size 14 and I WILL look stunning :D
My official weigh in day is a Saturday and I weigh in Kilos because they mean less to me (LOL, the tricks we use). I usually lose a kilo a week but recently have been having a real problem shifting it, but that's probably to do with my willpower waning.
Uhm what else can I tell you.... I think thats it. I hope I can join in because I'd love to see my stats as part of the spread sheet. Thanks for listening. :j

KPC Oops! I've cleaned the oven doors before with bicarb and vinegar and that was a real chore. Was the oven still hot? I know some people love bicarb and white vinegar for cleaning nearly every thing but my kids hate it when I try. They complain 'cause the house stinks of vinegar, and the middle son is autistic and smells can drive him crazy!!

Raph - yet again fantastic loss! :T I got a bike for my birthday a few years ago and tried it out again a couple of weeks ago. I loved it apart from the numb bum syndrome. So my advice get a gel seat cover!

Went shopping with a friend today and it felt great getting a pair of size 16 PJ's!! :j If anything the shorts are a bit too big, but the top fits fine and only £9 in the sale at M&S. Managed to resist buying anything else though as I want to lose more weight before I buy any summer clothes. Size 14 here I come!:D
    I would if I could but I can't so I won't!

Welcome Safesound ! When is your big day? I still can't get my head around Kilos. When I'm told my weight in kilos the number goes in one ear and out the other until they convert it into 'proper' numbers!

"Bailey's birthday party. Dogs need birthday parties :)" That's very kind of you to throw me a party Ajax, but then you go and ruin it by throwing insults at me!

:rotfl: sorry bails, it's all part of my "treat em mean, keep em keen" philosophy. Like it or lump it :D

KPC, cleaning is the work of the devil. Grime rocks :)
