........that's not a word. You can't just make 'em up!!!

With vix here, I am reminded. As I mentioned, it's mine & MrsA's first anniversary Monday and I want to get a suitable present. It's traditionally paper isn't it, so I was thinking (even though I usually hate the voucher thing) of getting her a £50 voucher for La Senza.

Is that the kind of shop that a girl would delight to spend time shopping in? I hope so as it's the best I can think of - sensible budget, yet nice stuff? Of course, if any of you female types have any better ideas, I'm all ears :)

Being back on SW is such a boon. Can't believe how focussed I feel.

Here's "Plan A". Lose a minimum of 16 lbs by July 4th. There is no Plan B!

16 lbs in six weeks is not easy but is not impossible. It's a steady race and there are only 2 hurdles I can see at the moment :-

    - this Saturday = Italian meal out (my 1st anniversary on Monday)
    - 14th June = brother-in-law's wedding so will be expected to partake in a half pint or two

If things aren't on track after 14th June then I still have almost three weeks to catch up. No excuses. No more Mr Nice Guy with my lard. Again, There is no Plan B. It's me who lost 4 stone only to put 16lbs back on, and it's only me who can lose those 16 lbs. This is the time - I am SO up for this. BRING ON THE 4th OF JULY !!!!

    Motivational rant over! :D

Go Ajax!!!! if you have any motivational Get Up And Go left can I have some please :D

Dragon: Hope you and hubby get some good chillaxing in to reduce your BP. Nice weather, a bit of gardening perhaps?

    Hi Vix

A neighbour hover mowered our lawn (well patch of grass, thistles and weeds that would like to be a lawn!) on Sunday and Dr Dragon has been out with the grass rake today before lunch to get rid of the clippings. Not only that but he has also been out and butchered a load of nettles and dandelions with a scythe! I think he was getting rid of his frustrations over his company by thinking each weed was a member of the board :rotfl:

Hmm depends on the size of MrsA!! - if she is not too large a lady then YES!! I imagine she could have a fine time in La Senza :rotfl: - and I've never been a girly girl either but even I like nice fancy underpinnings!

In that case I suspect you should be okay - go ahead and get that piece of paper sorted out :rotfl:
