If someone bought me a La Senza voucher I would question whether they even knew me :p .... but I know plenty of girls who love it :)

Good luck with your target Ajax! :D With that kind of motivation though it sounds like luck won't even come into it!

Thanks Efrieze, I know what 5km feels like now although not to run the whole way as you do! How often do you run? Love your chart. Mine looks exactly the same, a great big slide down and then up, down, up, down as I try to maintain! You seem to have yours a lot more under control this time that you did before though.

I run twice a week now (once on the road with a friend and once on the treadmill - although I might up it to thrice next week). yes - my chart certainly shows my variations!

No Ajax it's not crap stuff, just not at all to my taste - but I'm the exception in a lot of things girl-related :rotfl: Where does MrsA usually buy her lingerie? That might give us a clue whether she is a La Senza type?

Wouldnt a voucher for a local spa/beauty salon be better? So she could go for a manicure or facial etc? I sometimes think that men give women vouchers for lingerie for their own benefit :D

........that's not a word. You can't just make 'em up!!!

With vix here, I am reminded. As I mentioned, it's mine & MrsA's first anniversary Monday and I want to get a suitable present. It's traditionally paper isn't it, so I was thinking (even though I usually hate the voucher thing) of getting her a £50 voucher for La Senza.

Is that the kind of shop that a girl would delight to spend time shopping in? I hope so as it's the best I can think of - sensible budget, yet nice stuff? Of course, if any of you female types have any better ideas, I'm all ears :)

I find La Senza pretty but totally impractical (If Mrs A is an ample lady then I certainly wouldn't recommend la senza)

why not make it a debenhams voucher or a marks one...that way there is alternative clothing/stuff available for her to purchase if she can't spot anything nice?

..haha if that was the case it would be a voucher for "Trampy PVC Ltd" or whatever. She's really not a manicure or beauty treatment type bird.

Missy she normally gets stuff from George or places like that - not cos she wouldn't like something more up-market, she's just pretty practical when it comes to parting with her money.

Good thinking, Batman. I didn't realise La Senza was for waifs.

Nicely put - I didn't know how to say that tactfully!

......she'd wanna see what she was buying, and I don't even know where there is a John Lewis :o We don't have one in West Brom, that's for sure :)
