SEALED POT CHALLENGE 6 - MEMBER NUMBER 086 Special Star from Sue :staradmin :T:T
  • Hi All
Just reporting in to say I STS this week.
Have been rubbish with my steps, only 2500 yesterday and won't be able to do any today as work and other commitments mean I cannot enjoy a walk. I will try better for next week and will set myself a mini challenge to lose 2lb and so keep my average at 1lb a week. I have been consoling myself with a few hob nobs I baked yesterday so will have to hide them away and get on with diner - something involving rice and spinach as I have a lot of it to use up. Have to be out of house by 6.30 not returning till 11.00 so that will keep me away from the food.
Good luck to everyone for the coming week.
    WL 11 st 5lb as at 050109. 160209 11st 2lb
    11st 5lb as at 20.04.09 11st 7lbs 040509 11st6 010609 I wish 2016 175 lbs.

Nope, no snapping perceived here Suggsy and you are doing just great with your running. What a result today, way to go! :T I'd say you're well ahead of the game with preparation for London, nice one fella!

... yep my mind is made up, it's a Debenhams voucher. I just hope it's not a gift card rather than voucher, as the whole point is that it's paper for the first anniversary.

I received a gift card last week so I was worried for a minute, but from their website it looks like you can choose either that or paper vouchers :j

Just quick thought, does your debenhams have a personal shopper, someone that would assist the good lady in buying clothes. Or in my mind makes sure she spends it on herself? :)

Got my Photo today from the Luton Town Sponsors Dinner, Me, the player we Sponsored, George Bevan, only aged 18, debut in March and the God that is Mick Harford :) Young George is going on holiday with his mum and dad to Tenerife this summer. So not into the jetset just yet. :)

That was exactly what I was about to suggest Suggs, either a personal shopper or getting her colours done? That way she will know what things suit her figure and compliment her looks. You can get some cheaper ones on lastminute.com I seem to remember.
EDIT: by colours I don't mean getting her roots done ;)

.... she will spend it on herself, she doesn't need the grief she would get if she tried anything else.

.......very nice, fella!!! How funny that after talking of a$s-kicking, a donkey like Mick Harford should follow ;) Only kidding, honest :D

Aw vix, your relationship sounds great- loving and warm. I too believe very much in loyalty and treating my lovely partner with warmth and consideration, as he does me and it's the small everyday things that make it so special: We're in our 40's and we love holding hands and sharing a naughty treat in a cafe and laugh together everyday. I just meant that I have seen friends in relationships where they are not treated with either much love or interest: it is that sort of relationship that it is sad to stick with through habit, particularly if no kids involved. Just becasue someone started going out with someone at 15, that shouldn't mean they have no other choices at 18 or 20 if they are consistantly unhappy. It would be sad to be condemned to constant unhappiness - that can't be right, when you haven't even got as far as marrying the chap yet. You've been really lucky to find the a chap who quite rightly adores you at a young age. For those of us who didn't, it's a different learning curve. I really really hope it didn't sound like I was putting your ideas down, coz that's not what I meant at all:grouphug: .
Just bought a couple of fresh pineapple reduced to 25p each:j . Going to cook your cotage pie tonight victory: ridiculously excited. We both resisted a gooey cake with our tea in town - instead we shared a fresh fruit salad with yog and toasted almonds:A .
