Well done starlight!! I hope youre taking more photos so we ccan have a look at your fantastic achievement!
Missy: Ohhh dear. Do not buy a sports bra at a 32, thats why its not supportive! Its like you buying size 12 trousers. I think your best bet is to go online and get a 28 back. Try barivissimo, even try triumph. I know our shock absorber rep said that 28s are gunna be coming out soon so maybe they are around somewhere. Even try freya maybe?
Brightonbelle: hahaha! if i see some ladies who refuse to get there hair wet, then i purposely splash as much as i can, every time, and i enjoy it! Perhaps im being a bit horrible, but i dont wanna alter my way of swimming cos they dont wanna get splashed, it is water afterall. Glad you liked it though! I still need to go swimming, think i will next week.
Suggs: I do really get on with my mum, i think thats why i notice these things a bit more. She is a fabulous woman who i am extremely proud of, its just i want a bit of mum and daughter time sometime! I just think she wants her own space now, which she should have, but i guess its one of the drawbacks of having a child at 40.
It seems that lately everyone i know is getting married or having babies! Im feeling left out, but excited that i still have it all to look forward to. My friend preet is getting married, shes indian so im very excited about seeing what her wedding will be like!
Anyway, see you guys later!0 -

Hey all, happy to report a 3lb loss for this week!
Just stuffed my face with faggots & mash (my treat dinner for this week) and feel very full & happy now.
Someone was talking about fat fingers, and I can totally understand. That was one of the parts of my body that I used to hate, the fat belly & back fat didn't bother me as much as my chubby hands.
I can really see my body changing now, my hands are thinner, and I don't have huge rolls of fat down my back now. I still have more padding than I want, but it's going slowly.
One thing I have noticed is that I now have to sleep with a pillow between my knees, as the padding isn't there anymore & my knees dig into each other.

I absolutely need to lose weight as I've gained all but 3lbs of the weight I'd lost since rejoining WW last August. Here's hoping I'll be able to undo the damage sooner rather than later.
Vix - these women rule the roost - splash em and you'll never get to swim nice lengths: they swim maddenly slowly anyway and if they are 4 in front of you it's stop start all the way. Fortunately I'm not a speed merchant nor care about counting lengths done, so am quite happy to swim around them. It is a great way for the older peeps to get exercise, and many have perms that don't respond well to getting wet, or create a lot of extra effort to 'fix'. Also, it's the speed - they are some of them quite frail and people crashing around makes them nervous so I can see both sides. Are you enjoying not having any exams?
Mark: good one:j Raph - excellent - a good loss this week as predicted after 2 mini loss weeks.
Just had mashed celeriac for the first time ( as a substitute for potatoes on a red day) Really interesting flavour - a bit nutty. Very filling.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
That's great Missy, I'm glad you've been able to reflect on and confirm your choices.
Fab news about the swimming Bb, I love the smiley too and also want to go swimming now; shame OH has the car! Had planned to go for a long walk tomorrow but may swim instead.
Great loss Raph, as predicted by peeps last week. It's brill you can really notice a difference. Well done Mark, and not long til the next milestone either!
Belly dancing Delly, ace, I'd love to have a go at that! Glad you're getting back on track and using the support you think is best for you.

Wow! Starlight!!! ,:T :T :T :T
and all the other losers too.:T :T :T
And well done all the exercisers :T :T :T .... I did go to the gym and use the stepper and the treadmill on Saturday. You are shaming me into it.:oThank you! I tried that Powerplate machine. I felt as if my brain was shaking out of my head. I guess that would result in a few pounds lost but I'm thinking it's probably not suppoesed to feel like that. Can anyone enlighten me? I'm not keen to ask a trainer, that might want me to DO something.

Evening everyone. Is anyone following The GI Jeans diet? I have a friend who's lost alot of weight on this and although I've asked her for a look. Her book is her life at the moment and she can't bear to be parted from it lol.
Can anyone give me their opinion on it.Thanks
Hi Mollymop
I lost my weight following the GI Jean Diet - I've lost 48lb and am now trying to STS. The good thing with Rosemary Conley's diets is that they can be used to feed the whole family and the food is normal food, which means the diet is sustainable.
I wouldn't part with my book either, it's got great advice and superb recipes. The magazines are also good for motivating stories and recipes - my OH looks through when my magazine arrives and reads the success stories. Last month he checked out the recipes and told me what he wanted me to cook - bloomin' cheek - I'm on the grocery challenge and had the whole month pre-planned. He's going to have to wait til June for the new recipes.
You can get back issue magazines from Ebay - usually worth the money. The GI Jeans book you could get from Ebay or Amazon, although you might want to try the new GI Hip and Thigh Diet - that's got great recipes too, and the principles are exactly the same.
