    Morning All

Trust we all had a good weekend. I did pretty well. No kids this weekend. Went out Saturday shopping and bought middle daugther her birthday presents, then wandered around, some festival of food was going on, so tried loads of cheeses, sausages, bacon, fudge, cake and Toffee flavoured vodka :) bought some extra mature chedder, chilli chedder and garlic and herb chedder and the vodka, went home got fresh bread, pickles etc and enjoyed :). Saturday night was the rugby club end of season dinner, not a bad night plenty of drink, ( 1or 8, plus port!) got home for 2am. I weighed myself this morning just to see and Saturday cost me more than my birthday in lb-age put on! ( cough 8lb gained over the weekend cough - yes it is temporary and no way did I consume that much!)

Right then as is tradition I missed loads over the weekend. Kymrob well done on you loss :) likewise poohbear, safesound and surfbabe well done to you too. Victory, not just the fingers that have slimmed down, I ring is now on my middle finger, I actually have gone down a shoe size too! Tagz, nice to hear about your M&S adventure, its always the best feeling when you least expect it.:D Welcome back young Ajax, glad you had a good time, now I do like porridge made with water, not sure if its HEB though:D Jules, sorry about the gain, maybe a little analysis will help? Let us know how you get on? Missyg ((big hugs)) try not to worry too much and please dont over compensate this week. That gain is tiny in the grand scheme of things. Hows the bra thing going on? Need any help ;)Vix, likewise have a belated hug from me, My mum and I never that close, but when I needed help a few years ago, she was there, talking sense and making sure I was ok :)FFM well done on you STS too. Bails glad you had a great time in London,

I have indeed been there Ajax! :D Also some 100 NHL games, an All-Star game, a Stanley Cup final, other fun & games *ahem* - I think I'll stop there. My mis-spent youth :rotfl:

    I am hoping for a Red Wings/Pens final :D

Hey Suggs! Please don't worry, there is no way I'll over-compensate as I know from past experience that does more harm than good. I'll do this healthily or not at all :) I do need help with the bras, looking for anywhere that has a black 28DD/30D sports bra in stock that isn't a Shock Absorber and I haven't already tried :p Oh, was that not the sort of help you were thinking of?

That food festival sounds like they tried to find the foods with the biggest calorie counts ever and put them all in one place :rotfl:

    a Wings/anyone final will do me :)

100NHL games? You spent your whole life over there or something? :) I've never seen an NHL game - never been to North America outside of June/July. Baseball is my thing, and if I'm heading stateside it's for baseball rather than ice hockey. In fact, only saw the Ice Hockey Hall Of Fame because I was in Toronto for an MLB game.
I used to go and see ice hockey over here though; watched Solihull Blaze for a few years until they moved to Coventry - that was too far to go.

Lois, thanks for the steer over to the SW support thread. Some very helpful peeps over there, and I've got exactly the info I was looking for ;)

Had a bit of a lapse at the weekend which included a very large packet on onion ring crisps, large popcorn and a meal out! Thats the only lapse in 2 weeks.

Back on track this morning though 10st 5lbs on the scales this morning, stated at 11stones so its going well with everyones support on this thread.
I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something

I was reading your catchup post Missy and thought, how funny someone's username is dirtystopout, til I realised that's ME! :rotfl:I had a good sleep thanks, although OH was very noisy this morning, how rude ;)

Okay, I've been mulling this over Missy and thought about PMing you but have decided to post here instead, as you and I are both straight talking and it may help others too. I hope this is the right thing to do...

As I see it, you have worked incredibly hard on your WL and have achieved amazing success over the past year losing basically 3 stone. I use the word basically as you are a fastidious number-cruncher and it would irk you about the oddses ;) Not only have you lost this weight, you have in fact gone below the 8 stone mark, albeit just because you wanted to be 7 st something just once. You have been struggling to stay at what I assume is your ultimate goal of 8 stone and are understandably finding that very frustrating. Here are the questions I have - I am not wanting the answers(unless you would like to share), I just think it could be a useful exercise for you to ask yourself some questions and see what comes up. (These are just an idea of some). There is no criticism whatsoever involved in them, and I certainly don't have an expectation of the 'right' answers, as they are very personal to you. I sometimes get asked similar questions on various topics, in a completely non-confrontational way without expectation and I have found them incredibly useful, if sometimes hard.

What was your original target weight when you first started?
Why is 8 stone so important? Is the reason you have worth the effort you are putting in?
What would happen/how would you feel if you maintained at a slightly higher weight e.g. what you are now, or a little more?

As you know I consider you a friend and only wish you happiness, and am pretty sure you know I am hoping to help and am in no way judging or patronising you xxx
