I made a mistake but the buyer is being difficult help

Although the seller had decided to do the right thing (offer a full refund & keep the dress) that was only at 9.30 this morning. Prior to that the OP was trying to get the buyer to send the dress back at her expense or accept a partial refund.
The buyer is entirely innocent in this and should not be out of pocket at all. I suspect she has just lost patience trying to get her rightful refund as the dress sold way back on the 10th of April ie over two weeks ago.
Now the OP has changed her mind again and wants the dress back so it’s going to cost the buyer £4 to get a refund of £6.70
I’m really glad I don’t buy dresses on ebay.0 -
This is turning nasty and you really should not have let this get so far. At the very moment that YOUR mistake was pointed out to you you should have been bending over backwards to put it right; not posting on here that you had a so called "difficult buyer". Is there a chance that your buyer is simply exasperated?
I've just checked all your negative feedbacks on Goofbay - you have received 21 negs. You seem to have locked horns with many other ebayers previous to this incident.0 -

When you sold the other dress you described it as a Gap denim dress! Surely this would have prompted you to make sure you listed accurately after that!0 -

yes I do have 21 negs (and 926 positives) only 7 of which are as a seller - and as a seller the most recent one was in Feb 07 over a year ago. I immediately offered the buyer a 50% refund as I acknowledged it was my mistake as I felt that as she was paying £6.70 for what she thought was 2 dresses then it was reasonable to offer half the money back and for her to keep the dress, then after recommendation on here I decided to tell her to keep the dress and I would send her the £6.70 back which I offered to her. the next morning I get up to find she has opened a dispute against me and refused the mutual cancellation I sent. I am trying to be fair I can only presume that she doesn't like the dress or it does not fit - if i had bought in the same circumstances - when the title and photo matched but were completely different to the description I would have asked the seller a question before bidding and then I would have realised my mistake and rectified the listing, alternately I would also be satisfied if I thought I was getting 2 of something and only one turned up to recieve half of my money back and keep the item.miss-piggin :j Mum of 2 wonderful girls and a gorgeous little man.DFW Halifax£2330 Tesco£2576 Virgin£3238 Little£5468 Asda£242 Barc£240 Catalogue£1600 Halifax1£2k Halifax2£250 [STRIKE]Capital£100 Picture£53k GE Mo £30k. Just let ebay deal with it now, dont get into a dispute row just list the facts, you offered a refund and for her to keep the item. She filed a dispute which means she has to pay return costs thats the rules. If she goes on then keep replying with the same 'offered full refund and keep item for free, has chosen to dispute via ebay so will be done under ebay rules, refund will be paid on receipt of returned item' when you get the dress refund her for what she paid, nothing else she can do she chose to take the dispute option.0 -

Firstly contact the seller and let them know that you are not happy
If that comes to nothing, I would start an "Item not as discribed" dispute and see what happens themLiving the Dream...............:A
Every little helps0 -

I was actually referring to item 120231701305 listed as
'Classics 1 Lemon flowered summer Dress size 28 nbnwt' - this is presumably the other one described in the listing with the one you originally referred to.
but in the description it says 'really pretty denim dress by Gap'. All a bit chaotic!!
