thanks for all your advice, this is the message I left through ebay dispute:

I have already offered the buyer a refund, and requested that she completed a mutual agreement but she refused the agreement, I am still offering a refund and have requested that she send them back to me recorded delivery and she will get a refund by either cheque or paypal as sonn as I have the dress back. now she has replied with:

We are Not paying for your mistakes you described item wrong so you MUST pay all p+ p cost we shouldNot be out of pocket for your incompetenceFull refund means full refund inc ' all return expencesfailure to do this witll resoult not only bad feedback but court action and your have to pay all ourcost Under the trade description's act your are liable

I can't believe how bad she is getting, I am presuming the dress doesn't fit, as it was BNWT and cost me £20, it was a present for my mother-in-law which didn't fit her so she has got a real bargain, I am just at a loss as to what to do next, I offered originally for her to keep the dress and I would send her £6.70 back but now she is getting threatning and I could do without the stress at the mo - I dread logging on to ebay to see what message she has left. I also wanted to list some stuff today but don't know whether it's a good idea, I have got a second account but I have never sold anything through it and it only has a feedback of 10 - do you think this would put people of bidding?

You've added your comments to the dispute, so leave it at that, and let the powers that be dictate the next course of action. You've done all you can so far, so do not get drawn into an argument in the dispute console about it.

I would not worry about listing - there is nothing that potential buyers can see of this ongoing issue, and your new listings would not get pulled by eBay simply because one dispute may be found in favour of a buyer.

i'm still not seeing your point - unless it's a very offensive insult to someone who is larger than average size, and if so you should be thoroughly ashamed of yourself.

I'm "assuming" it is a reference to the fact that they got a lot of dress for £6.70.

you were in the wrong but was trying to do the correct course of action in the end. however the buyer is being ridiculous. do nothing else and go by whatever ebay say she will now have to eat the return fees so dont worry about feedback as she will leave a negative anyway. Carry on selling your other items ebay wont suspend you or anything. i do hope this seller will not reflect things to come with the whole new feedback system as we dont stand a chance

it seems as if the buyer is not happy for a £6.70 refund and to keep the dress she wants the seller to be even more out of pocket and have to pay return postage costs as well.

although having the dress returned means it can then be sold again
