I tried to switch to the 'Fixed till 2011' tariff yestreday as I am already a SP online customer but have been told it has been closed with a new one being announced today! (5th June)

So watch this space............

Did you try online or on the phone ?

I did the switch online yesterday and my account now shows I'm on that product.

Cheers elektra, took your advice and tried online and it looks like I have got the 'fixed till 2011 fix! Will see what happens! Fingers are crossed!:j

Think I have managed to switch to capped rate today online after being told on phone that I couldnt a week ago! Though unsure whether this is new or old deal, couldnt see anything in T&C about not being to escape contract so hopefully have nothing to lose!

I have just managed this morning to change my service online (I am an existing SP customer) to the 2011 online with standing charge. The 2011 deal was the only option, no mention of the new 2009 offer, so I guess I should be ok.

Does anyone know where I can download a copy of the tarrif for this deal, for my records?

Also has anyone recently changed (since they supposedly stopped it) and had it confirmed that they are on the 2011 deal?

They send conformation and a tarrif guide through the post, i switched online via my account and it arrived about a week later

Thanks, was the change reflected online and did it specify 2011 before the letter arrived?
