Think you'll now have to work out the costs yourself.

The above link has the prices for this Price Fix tariff. (PDF File). It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0 -
Just tried again and can`t get any figures so think you may be right. I`ll r0

Opps sorry, pressed wrong button
I`ll ring them in the morning, need a glass of wine now my brain is scrambled.0 -
I think I know to take this offer, but any experts just confirm please if you may,
Im an SP customer, premier plus online with standing charge & pricefall ending october 2008. My current rates are lecky 7.275, standing charge 12.880 per day, Gas 2.162, standing charge 11.630
Fixed price offer ending March 2011, lecky 8.806 s/c 17.57 gas 2.638 s/c 16.32
Dont know my annual usage but its low, my monthly DD is anywhere between £28 - £35 tops, a month for a 2 bed house with just me (its not low enough to have a no standing charge though)
Since my annual bill can only be £400 ish a year, the fixed price offer seems a no brainer, I think the web site options will be pulled next week! Now I wonder if I can go on the fixed after my pricefall runs out? LOL!0 -
neil9313... No expert but only you can decide if the increase is worth it for the security of having a fixed deal for the next 3 years...
When the pricefall tariff runs out I am pretty sure fuel costs will have gone up again and there won't be such a good offer around... if prices do fall the fixed tariff from SP is on a 28 day rolling contract so you can always shift...
If the question is can they apply the 2011 fix from when the pricefall product ends... the answer I am sure would be no... :rotfl:0 -

Thanks for reply, does not hurt to askinfact they put me on the pricefall oct 08 in jan 08 after my online saver 2 ran out, so its not always cast in stone these things! I think I have to pay £1.50 each per month for both fuels! Im in area 20 southern!

Well just used three different comparison websites to see if it would be worth switching my folks onto the Npower fixed 2011 deal.
They currently pay 55 per month gas and 42 lecky to Eon in a scottish power area.
Moneysupermarket reckons that it would be an extra 10 percent a year to cap prices with Npower whereas both energyhelpline and uswitch reckons it would be about a 30 percent increase in what they are paying just now!!!
I'm pretty sure there will be price rises, but a 30% premium to lock in a price??
I think I'll leave my folks on the plan they are on.
I really don't have any confidence in the comparison websites with them kicking out a 20% difference in prices for changing suppliers. Really don't trust any of them now....0 -
I managed to switch to the fixed tariff a few minutes ago through my existing Scottish Power account. I've switched from the Online Energy Saver 4 tariff. It was between that and the E.ON capped 2009 tariff. Just got to sit back and see whether price hikes make it all worth it. I've never been very good at waiting and seeing.0

Are you putting in actual consumption or just their monthly direct debit? If it is the latter... you will definitely end up with more spurious results...:eek:0 -
were on Scottish Power dual fuel
last quarter bill (dated June) is
gas - £226
elec £115
Uswitch indicated we can make a saving of £283 with Atlantic, and about £280 with Eon (£55 quidco CB).
Question - is it best to stick with SP fixed price until 2011, or is best to switch today?
thanks advance
BUMP - any advice welcome on what to do0
