just tried to ring npower to get my up to date usuage (before I switch) and there is an answerphone message saying that they are closed because of an urgent update meeting!

What do youthink that might mean? Might they be looking at putting some new offers out, given that lots of people are switching?

I am currently on the Price Fall tarriff but after reading Martin's email this week have decided to switch to the Fixed 2011 no service charge tarriff. Did it on Scottish Power's website.
    Thanks.

Spoke to SP about the fixed deal and it finished on Friday.

Another fixed deal is due in the next 2-3 weeks they tell me so we'll see...

I am on SP Online Energy Saver 4.

    My annual usage is:

    Gas 4359kwh - £142 and Elec 2755kwh - £290 (prices according to ukpower.co.uk)

I am not an expert on this and usually all I do is call SP and ask if i'm still on the cheapest tariff or not.

The Question is should I go for the Fixed Price Energy Online tariff or not as it is still available for existing customers??

And if so how much more will it cost me, and do I go for the above one or the Fixed Price Energy Online No Standing Charge??

    Many Thanks

I too have called SP today and gone onto the fixed price deal until 2011. I think its luck of the draw who you get on the phone when you call up.
