Now a Scottish Power payer until 2011.
Don't forget that, although your prices are fixed until 2011, you are under no obligation to remain with Scottish Power during that period.
  • Ive just signed up on the phone with no problems.

She pointed that out to - 28days notice on both sides :D - seems to be the 'best' tariff at the moment IF it stays around much longer.........

    Hi

I just telephoned SP telling them I had not rec'd email/communication from them.

First question from her was which website did I go through - I told her Moneysupermarket, to which she said they havent got our products......however, I can sign up directly with her if I act quick now over the phone.

She said she extremely busy, have not been told of an end date for the fixed price deal but she cannot see it being around much longer.....

    Thanks for all your help

    Caz

    Hi
Guess what I rec'd today - a welcome letter from SP dated.......20/5/08 - it now would appear i will have 2 accounts set up.
Should I just ignore the future letter, the one that would relate to my telephone call yesterday - as it would be good to be able to get the cashback from moneysupermarket, which is linked to the letter rec'd today.
    Your help would be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Caz
    keep saving

This happened to me too,Caz and what they told me was that whichever one got onto their system first would be the one that got through, whereas the second would automatically be cancelled, despite the emailor letter you got,as they are generated automatically.Hopefully that means you will get your cashback.!!

I stuck my switch request in yesterday evening, on the basis that I'm not tied in there isn't that much to lose.

They offered to reduce my payments a bit but I plumped to keep them where they are, I can always sort that out later if I end up loads in credit.

Just signed up online, am an existing customer and just 'changed my service' online to the fixed price option, it seems to have accepted it.
