I signed up to the fixed to 2011 online on saturday.
Will i receive a letter of confirmation or will i get a email from scottish power?
Also when will i get the chance to set up a direct debit amount up with them?
Thanks
I went via QuidCo to the online SP site.
I was asked for DD details at sign up, how much I wanted to pay each month (or maybe they took it from what I told them I currently paid - I forget) and which day I wanted it to come out of my account.
A couple of days later I got an email with the subject Welcome Letter and detailing the process, then a week later (today) I had a letter through the post detailing how much they will take each month and on what day and a price list. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0 -
I signed up on the scottish power website i gave dd details and what date of the month i would like the payment to go.
I will just wait for my welcome email then.

I think have decided to switch to the SP 2011
I am going to save money based from my current EDF quarterly bill tariff (I could save more else ware but the fix seems good especially as I can dump it if energy prices fall ).
One question that does not seem to have been asked. I am renting at the moment and quite likely to move in the next 6mths to a year either because the landlady will sell (its been on the market 3mths now) or we will buy (just waiting to see what happens!).
Any way can I take this fixed SP Tariff to a new address ? because if not it might be better for me just to go with the cheapest.
Several have mentioned £75 from Quidco but I am only being offered £62 is their a trick?
If it helps we are in SWALEC area.
Thanks in advance
No you can't transfer to a new address.0 -

The fixed package aren't appearing when I run through the products available. Has anybody switched to the 'ScottishPower Online
Discounted Energy Online' tariff/scheme and then looked at changing their scheme from within account management?
Not sure if the fixed schemes are available through that method; can anyone confirm please?
Thanks ...0 -
I tried that...;) I could have joined thro Quidco, to the discounted scheme, but then when I tried to change to the fixed from there; it wasn't having any of it! The fixed was only available, after lunchtime today, if you did the whole thing thro the phoneline to SP.
In other words, they will let you join up, but aren't paying out through any of the cashback sites, apparently.
Never mind, I'm now not really worried about the fuel price hikes to come, and I'll be cutting down wherever I can too.:money:
Regards

I am so annoyed with myself as I priced it all out on Friday night and was ready to go for the fixed scheme but thought I'd wait a day or so to mull it over and get others opinions on the switch !
D'oh
Should of just gone for it!0 -
Did you join on the 'discount' and change to the 'fixed' today Deanos?
Also, did you come in through a cashback site?0 -
