Thanks, Quentin!0

I went through to BT sales and they passed me throught to customer service saying they will need to tell me about the offer and they told me that it only applys to customers moving from another supplier not people wanting to set up a brand new account with BT. But I can see from previous posts that people have had brand new line in new property from this offer. What number do I have to ring to get someone who will give this offer to me?
Point BT Sales at their own serviceview site, and then point out that (from the PDF in the first post) that at least points 1 and 8 refer to existing BT customers.
I've already posted a more detailed explanation of this elsewhere, but that should be enough.0 -
the 10 chargable calls it mentions in the serviceview notice, what happens if u fall short? so basically i am forced to use my landline at least 10 times a month for 18 months?? (damn as i just took out a mobile contract for 1000 mins) grr
also is the 0800800880 number still best to get the deal?0 -
If you "fall short", you have broken the ts + cs for the offer, and will lose the discount.
The "best" number is the one which is answered by someone who knows a bit about the offer!0 -

Sign up your mum/someone you know well (or even your mobile) as your Best Friend number. On the 1st of the month simply ring that number 10 times waiting until it has been answered/gone to voicemail (and therefore chargeable/inclusive) and incur the minimum cost you can for the cheap installation.
[Don't forget that generally speaking 08x numbers are cheapest to call from a BT landline compared to anything else]0 -
:j Yay! I got it. Thanks Guy's!0

Why make chargeable calls when inclusive calls count . Even on the lowest BT Call Option you get free weekend calls to 01/02/03 numbers which you can use to your advantage.;)0 -
