    Afternoon everyone,
I've found myself scrolling through the Flylady site today. Its nearly as addictive as here!
Have done 2 loads of washing. Second one just drying. Tidied the kitchen. Swept the laminate floor in lounge. Sorted through kinders school stuff and put it all away in their drawers. Been into town and bought a couple of things we needed( )
Dinner is sweetcorn chilli, which I'd already made and frozen. Its currently in the fridge defrosted as we speak...
    I feel really motivated...... :T

Have a great rest of the day everyone!

    Hello everyone

Had a list of jobs as long as your arm today, but most haven't got done :) 2 loads of laundry done and still that mountain of ironing that I intend to tackle to night. Managed to clean living room - 20 mins before my friend and her 2 DS's arrived, so it's now covered in toys and biscuit crumbs again. Well, kids are only little once and the 4 boys play so well together, it makes a nice change to sit and have a cuppa and an adult chat while the kids play :D

Still, vac'd most of house and made Toad in the Hole for tea. Not made it before and it was a success, with mash and steamed veggies. Also made plum crumble and custard, but I'm so full I haven't had my pud yet.

Only went out to pick friend's son up from school, so zero money spent. I'm determined to keep a record of all monies spent as I have no idea what I actually do spend on food especially. Couldn't do it in the summer as Mr TM was away most of the time so it would have given a skewed reading. (He eats more than the rest of us put together)

Need to put BM on again tonight and I might get round to making yoghurt. I'm still so wiped out from my illness on hols I was too tired last night, but will get round to these jobs soon - which includes making more arrangements for the "meet"

OK, off to bath the boys and try to get them to sleep at a normal time.

    Have a nice evening all.

    Done it again!!!! LOL! :D

I was planning to cook toad in hole but after spending a couple of hours playing on Google Earth I got too hungry to wait while I made the "hole", so we just had sausage, mash, steamed carrots and peas!

And guess what, I've just stuck an apple crumble in the oven for pudding LOL! ;)

Hi everyone, hope you all had a great day.I know i lurk on here more than i post but its due to time realy as after ive done all my surveys and clicks for amazon vouchers i have to go.Well i just popped on to tell you all that i have payed my very last ever credit card payment today,so im well pleased about that.Im not including my savings into my september pin money as i already knew about this regular payment ending,it took me 2 whole year to get this bill down to nil and through my own stupidy of spending in the first place. So to those still in debt, plod along and you will get there in the end,my credit card balance was £2,700 in dec 2002 by the way.I know to some it might seem a huge amount and to others it might not seem very much but to me it was HUGE and i was paying £35 per month interest which is scarey.

    wtg squiggles :j:

And if you keep squirrelling away at least some of the money you were paying on your cc, then just think of the savings you'll soon have - Xmas will be paid for without you noticing, as will your summer hols etc.

Brilliant - well done Squiggles. It must have been a wonderful feeling to make that last payment!
Enjoying an MSE OS life :D
  • That's brilliant Squiggles - well done.

I finally got my behind moving :) and have now swept and washed all the hard floors (I've only carpet in the bedrooms, so that's an achievement :D ), scrubbed down the kitchen and everything away bar the dishes that are still drying and emptied and washed the bin.

Now I've just some light dusting to do during DIY SOS and then I can stick on a DVD and kick back in my clean flat :D .

Off to see Madagascar tommorrow afternoon, as my friend works at the pics so I'll get in for nothing, before braving Asda for some essential bits and pieces - it's next to the cinema and so much cheaper than anywhere else in town but it's so vile and busy...
Pre O/S: what's a vitamin? Does it begin with the letter e?Now: I'm not eating any of that pre-made rubbish...
  • Hi
Im a bit late to post on this thread but I had to say Way to go Squiggles! I bet you've got such a great sense of acheivement from paying that off.
After my doctors appointment I came home and had lunch and surfed some more on here and chatted on the phone to my mom, but then I really got into gear and cleaned the whole house from top to bottom, and did a lot of tidying up and putting things away as well.
This evening I have spent looking through the local paper for a new job and watching "No waste like home" which I've managed to miss up until now. It has inspired me to do some bulk cooking as this is one thing I havent really got round to doing whilst Ive been off work over summer hols. The only problem is that my freezers are full at the mo.
Im off to bed now, goodnight all!
