Happy birthday to all those who are celebrating today :bdaycake:
I had a long lie in this morning following an early night last night
So, tomorrow I really must shift myself and get a few jobs done, I think mum wants to borrow me tomorrow to help her move a bed.
As far as know, OH is working tomorrow, so I think I will get up when he leaves and get on with something.
I'm currently trying out the Snickerdoodle recipe posted by arkonite babe, i'm not too sure if it will work out ok, as after I had got everything in a bowl, I realised a food processor was needed and I only have a hand mixer....ho hum, time will tell.
Hugs to all poorly ones and smooches to those in budding romances.

Evening All
Many Happy Returns Sunnyday, hope youve had a lovely day.
Been nice day here apart from the weather, it hasnt stopped drizzling since this morning.
Had a fun time down the seafront - spent ages but not too much money on the 2p machines - OH found at least £3 on the floor. Went to Tesco on the way home for a couple of bits - got home and DD then announced that she needs some ingredients for Monday!!
We want to go to a country/craft fair tomorrow but will have to wait to see what the weather is doing.
Oh and popped into the garden nursery and have some seeds - marrow, carrots, salad leaves and beetroot - just need OH to sort out the beds! Will be lots of trial and error this year but am really looking forward to it.
Off now for a surf, the kids are playing wii so no telly at the moment.

Hi all
Just wondered if I can join you all! Pigpen, cannot believe you do all that lot so early, my OH is a really light sleeper and would kill me if I did all that!!
I had a really productive day yesterday, got loads of paperowrk done, letter written out to close old accounts with a few quid in them and got them posted today. Just got the kitchen to tidy now but have had a glass of red whilst reading the thread so not sure now!!
Took DD1 horse riding earlier, really makes me want to start again but cannot afford for us both to go...oh well at least she enjoys it!

Well, they're all watching Dr Who... so I'm here instead, on the laptop.
Indian takeaway was nice...well if I'd really felt like it. DD went to Sains local to get me some icecream as I hadn't had much to eat and wanted some, they decided that as I'm off colour it was OK. Trouble is I only eat 'good' ice cream, so she got 2 tubs of B & J. Ouch! That can count as takeaway for dh's birthday![SIZE=-1]"Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Evening all.
I think reading about all your activity this morning must have worked some magic in my head. Normally I don't like housework/tidying, but this afternoon and evening I've gone a bit mental.
Chucked a load of mismatched mugs and glasses, to make way for some new ones we were given two christmases ago.
Cleaned the shelves they will be sitting on.
Gone through my tins cupboard checking dates and generally tidying, and converted the wasted space on the bottom shelf into storage for spare pasta/rice/cereals. (We have a bulk cupboard but it has spiders so I tend not to go in it and consequently never know what we have in. Its DH's territory.)
Washed a boatload of teacups, saucers, and side plates. DH is going to call the antiques centre to see if any of the dealers are interested in them. They didn't cost me a fortune, but they are really sweet (pink and yellow roses on) so someone might like them. Sadly I never get chance to use them so they are wasted here.
Hoovered the living room, and bemoaned the state of it to DH, so he felt guilted into doing some tidying too.
Tomorrow I shall probably be back to doing nothing...
Hugs abounding,
MethererNot heavily in debt, but still trying to sort things out.

Evening everybody :hello:
I have been busy today, got most of the plastic on my DIY greenhouse, bought a panny BM, passed my other BM on via freecycle, caught up on laundry.
Any wonder I'm bushed
Chilling out with a glass of wine now. PLans for tomorrow are to get my wallpaper for bedroom, arrange collection of BM, bake hobnobs, make lunches for Monday morning and will have to make another loaf in the panny as I really don't thionk this one will last past lunchtime.
Hope everyone had a good day as I haven't read the thread, (((hugs))) to all who are in need.
smoky and pen pin, special hugs to you.
Martyn, hows the holiday going.
See you all tomorrow.
