Morning Everyone
Happy Birthday to OldMacDonald. Its DH birthday today aswell. Hes still snoring in bed and I'm trying to keep an excited 3 year old from jumping all over him.
We are going out for a meal later but first its the normal weekend jobs. I'm about to put the WM on then I'm going into town to the market. Hopefully while I'm out with DD DH might wash the floors.
Have a good day everyoneSorting my life out one day at a time0 -
Good Morning All
Happy Birthday Old Macdonald & Mr Joannasmum
(((hugs))) where needed.
Its cold and blustery here today, need to do loads of housework as none got done yesterday as we had a mad day on the work front.
I have cleaned the kitchen, loaded the dw as I left the kitchen in a mess last night and put a load of washing on. Just about to jump in the shower which I will start cleaning whilst in there then will clean the bathrooms. OH is in charge of hoovering and washing floors then its sausage sandwiches for brunch.
OH is bored of being in the house so he has decided that once our jobs are done we are heading down the southend seafront, will have a bit of a mooch and maybe a very windy walk along the pier, will then pop into my Mums on the way home.
So everyone is very motivated so I need to get on.
Have a great day.

Hi there.
I don;t get on this thread as often as I want, hope noone minds if I pop up here as & when I can.
I do OS though, even if I'm not posting!
Today have a list of housework that needs doing.
Have done a meal plan till this friday. Need to do it more. Had my tesco delivery last night so am working round that. Plus determinted to get the others to eat cheaper stuff like beans/lentils. So will include a few of those dishes. Easy for me cos I am veggie!
Have some washing that needs drying but its very overcast here. Ugggg, may have to use the TD. I haven't used it for a fortnight & don;t really want to use it.
Need to pop to the shop for spuds (I like to choose my own fruit & veg!) bananas & milk. May go to Sainsbury as they are the only shop who do the wholewheat museli that I love.
Have a good day all

Morning
Thank you for all the Happy Birthdays
Happy Birthday also to MrJoannasmum
Dragged DH off to get my birthday pressie yesterday lunchtime - I've got me a greenhouse:D:D I've wanted one for ages and I am so excited. I have to wait for 7-14 days until it gets delivered, though, so I am really impatient!
Kids bought me breakfast in bed this morning. They asked what I wanted and (without thinking) said 'Oooo, anything yummy will be lovely'. I got two tins of peaches emptied into a huge pyrex bowl, with some glace cherries dotted on top! Needless to say, I decided to sharemy brekkie with them!
Have no idea what I am going to do today as DH is home all day and is letting me be as lazy as I want.
Dinner tonight is a Chinese takeaway - we have a great one not too far away that does loads of yummy veggie dishes:)
Have a good day everyone, and hugs to all those that need / want them.0 -
Good morning everyone.
Had a fantastic evening yesterday. We had good food, I could have some wine because I knew I wasn't going to be feeding the little one AND he slept through again.
He's still not eating much solid food but he's seeing the gastroenterologist on Wed so hopefully he'll tell me he's just fussy!
My plan is to do as little as possible today. I woke up at 8,30 fresh as a daisy and have done nothing (much) yet so I'm planning to keep it that way. LOLMay all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -

Morning all, hope that all the sad people and ill people are starting to feel a little on the mend,
I'm still not fit for action, but actually left the house for 10 mins to run the kids to orchestra. Cold air made me cough, so back in the warm, had a little brekkie, another cuppa and resumed my place on the sofa. Temp is down this morning, though was feverish again last night.
Meal out tonight cancelled as I'm not fit to go. DH has decided to get takeaway from the Indian restaurant (NOT a takeaway, but restaurant that does takeaway. prices reflected in this!) but at least it means I don't have to either cook (not fit to really) or tolerate the irritation of other people doing it and me having to explain stuff all the time.
Like the rest of you, kids activities taking over the w/e. Youth orchestra this morning, cello choir for dd this afternoon, her b/f coming back here if he's brave enough to face the germs (he was here last weekend so maybe immune!) tomorrow they're doing St George's celebrations at Tatton Park...Morris dancing for the visitors. DH will have to chauffeur if none of the side can help out with lifts. Then rangers and drama tomorrow evening. DD may even get a chance to do a hour's school work (It IS A levels next month !). To be fair, she didn't have much of a timetable in school yesterday, so was able to get lots done then.
I think I'll sit and knit... doing some llama wool socks for ME! Am here on my own, nice and quiet. WIll now read through some of the other threads as well."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"
