:hello: Hello!
Happy Birthday old Macdonald and Joannasdad! :bdaycake:
It is also Miss Catz's birthday _party_ today and we have already been to see her and give her some pressies and (((hugs)))
We are both resting up again, me with my knitting and Mr Catz with the rugby!
Dinner tonight is a pork stir fry and tomorrows dinner is Roast chicken bought from our farm shop with photos of the farm and animals for all to see. Not organic or free range but sort of free range but within a spacious and clean rspca checked wild bird proof barnnever heard of this before! The birds seemed to have tons of space and plenty of roosting places.
chicken was £6 so not cheap!
((((hugs)))) to PP and smokybabe and anyone else who needs one.

Hello All
Been out to lunch today with a friend. Spent nearly four hours nattering. Cost around £12 so not too bad especially as the food was HUGE. Got a couple of 5ps for the jar.
Out ghost hunting tonight which i can't wait for.
Should really be making a banana bread at the moment but feeling tired.
Tummy's still playing up so think I may have the bug circulating the office at the moment.
Hope everyone's okComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -
Afternoon All!
Got back at 12 noon. Just finished the washing, and taken DS to work.
First of all....Thanks so much for al my birthday wishes yesterday! I had a lovely day.
We got on the tube at Green Park, and went out to North Greenwich. Came up right beside the O2. It's changed a lot since I went there when it was The Dome! Loads of resturants, and a huge arena, but only four ladies toilets!! and two of those were out of order!
Still, the Tutankahmun Exhibition was amazing. If you haven't seen it, try and go. They haven't brought the Death Mask, but the rest is just astounding. You can't believe it's over 3000 years old!
We wnet by tube back to Leicester Square, and had Lunch in Planet Hollywood, then went shopping in Regent and Oxford Street. Didn't buy anything tho, nothing took my ancy, or if it did I couldn't afford it:rotfl:
In the evening, we went to see Joseph at the Adelphi. My DD bought my ticket as my birthday pressie. Brilliant seats in the stalls about 10 rows back. I've done Joseph with DS when he was at school, and our Year 6 did it last year, but I've never seen a "proper" production (apart from the video, with my man Donny in it!)
It was brilliant. The best show I've seen in years. Lee was amazing. He looked as though it was his first time doing it. They got a standing ovation, and we came out thrilled. OH really enjoyed it too, much to my surprise! I wanted to wait for Lee to come out, but there were so many people, and the legs were playing up by this time, I was afriad of being knocked over, so we went back to the hotel.
Came home this morning,t ired, but happy.
Monday, I've got this horrible meeting with the Head about my absence. OH is coming with me. Even though I know they can't sack me, it doesn't make it any easier:o
(((((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))) to those who need them.I Believe in saving money!!!:T
A Bargain is only a bargain if you need it!0 -
Glad that you had a great time. We saw Joseph in Manchester a few years ago, was fab!
I think you are very wise to take OH with you. I don't know the background as to why you are having this meeting, but I sure wish I had some support when I had my 'back to work' interview with my line manager last spring! I'm sure she wouldn't have said some of the things she did and of course I don't have a witness or a record of them!
Get your OH to note what is said...at the time... as you go along.
My LM was filling in a pro forma as the meeting proceeded, said she would type it up and send me a copy. I pestered and pestered and in the end gave up."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"
