OS Daily thread 19th April

Hi, this is the Daily Thread for 19th April This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!
When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning
Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.
I just wanted to start this for once!! lol AND I feel very naughty doing so!!!
So.. Good morning everyone.. I'm up... just waiting for hubby to get home.. and I will be phoning him shortly! But Tiddles has been up after wetting the bed so here I am.. forever the insomniac! I did manage 2 hours sleep!
I do normally read the thread.. but don't post..
sending hugs to everyone who needs them today, tickles to those feeling down and positive energy to those who want a bit!
Hope everyone sleeps well and has a lovely day

Good morning PigPen - I woke up early and couldn't get back to sleep! I think I managed three hours sleep! I'm on my second cuppa and have to decide whether to go back to bed, have a bit of a surf or do some knitting! At least it's Saturday so I can make up for lost sleep by dozing on the sofa all afternoon! The thing is, if I go back to sleep I'll end up waking up later than I like and that will throw the rest of the day out so I think I'll go and do some knitting!
Will call back in later.

Don't I know it!!
I've loaded the DW, folded 3 loads of laundry, and put both WM's and TD's on.. might do the breadmaker in a bit!!
I've fed the cats again as well.. just to get them out from under my feet.. and I've put all the recycling out and emptied the bins.. I might get the kitchen floor mopped if I can't get back to bed soon lolLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Now you've made me feel lazy! All I've done since about 3am is surf on here. I've eaten a banana and a Twix and had a cup of tea and a cup of coffee. Oh, and I've downloaded some knitting patterns to add to my already vast collection of patterns that I won't live long enough to knit! I think I'll go and put the WM and BM on then I won't feel so lazy!KNIT YOUR SQUARE TOTALS:

This probably wouldn't be so bad if I'd actually done something this week.. as it is I've done nothing now here I am at stupid o'clock sorting the kitchen! there is something wrong with me!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
I spring-cleaned my kitchen last Saturday! Today I'm taking down my kitchen curtains for washing but I think it's too dark outside to do that right now! I am also covering my dining room chairs with some brand new furnishing fabric that I bought in a charity shop a couple of weeks ago. I daren't start that until I'm more awake because it involves a stapler! I've started getting rid of the cobwebs that I noticed in the dining room and I've just tidied up all the wool that has been building up in the sitting room.
I suppose it's a bit early for breakfast, isn't it?KNIT YOUR SQUARE TOTALS:

It is never too early for food.. I'd have rice krispies by now but we've no milk and the shop doesn't open until 7am!!
I'll treat myself to a cuppa though I think!.. I am really thirsty!!! Might be related to the 2 tumble dryers I have going lol
I have tonnes of fabric I need to sort through.. but it means demolishing half my house.. as does everything!
Hubby on his way home now apparently he went out about 8pm so I dread to think what state he is in!! and I am NOT taking his contacts out.. not for all the money on the planet!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Oh, you've just reminded me - I've got stuff in the TD that needs drying! I'll get that going - I only have the one! I have just refilled all the tea, coffee and sugar canisters and taken the cutlery drawer out to wash - I forgot it last week. I've also peeled the potatoes for tomorrow's roast and will get the rest of the veg done, too! I'd go and get the paper now but my local won't be open yet. It would be rude to knock the door and wake them up, wouldn't it?!KNIT YOUR SQUARE TOTALS:
