I know what you mean. Sometimes I think it's easier looking after my 2 1/2 year old than most of the patients at work. Lol!0

Hi Hust - well done to you for working nights! My DH has just got up because he fancied a cuppa; I think I woke him up with my cleaning. I wasn't hoovering, honest! He thinks we're mad!KNIT YOUR SQUARE TOTALS:

Well If I wasn't doing nights, I would never be up this early. especially to clean. Please feel free to come to my house and clean. Any takers?0

BTW I like the cleaning list that pigpen wrote. I might try and do some of it. although I only work nights, so I will have to adapt it slightly.0

I've been at work all night AKA on this forum all night so it's nice to see some new threads!

Good morning everybody,
I slept in this morning...5.45. I have already brewed the elixir of life Hot Strong Coffee. My flat is available if any of you people want to clean it, photo graph it for your CV., or perhaps a competition,or just plain practice.....

Morning.
Seems a rather odd thread today, more like a 2 way conversation....
It's wet here and the outlook for the day is not too good either. I had my lazy day yesterday and did not do anything productive other than make pork chops and boston baken beans for tea.
Back to work today at 1300, so life is back to normal. I need to clean out the hen house first though and water the greenhouse plants. We need a shop too, but ASDA was bouncing yesterday so I avoided it. I don't like trying to find a parking space as that means the inside is full of people.
Coffee is on so time to get juiced up.... CheersNO to pasty tax We won!!!! Just shows that people power works! Don't be apathetic to your cause!0 -
yesterday managed to catch up with the ironing, cleared out my wardrobe and had a look for new light fittings. living room is nearly painted and it looks nice, but the mess is not!
today, weather looks more promising for some gardening. If not I'll have a look for some curtains etc for livingroom.
Saturday is not OS at our house. tonight will be a carryout of some description.x x x0 -
Well, I just had to have a nap on the sofa and I've just woken up. Yes, N9EAV - a strange start to the day. I noticed PigPen was up so just decided to join her although she was far busier than me! But we made some new friends, although they aren't nocturnal insomniacs - they were at work!
(((Hugs))) to SMOKY, PENPIN, MARTYN and ANNIEB'S nephew and all the poorly ones.
CHURCHMOUSE - :hello: :hello: :hello:
DH obviously got bored when I was having my nap so he's gone back to bed. I'll take him another cuppa when the kettle's boiled. It's started raining and it looks horrible outside so, apart from washing my kitchen curtains and covering my chairs, I'm going to have a lazy day. I should be able to get some more ZZZZs in this afternoon!
See you all later.

Good morning everyone,
Busy day for me today, Its DDs birthday next week, so today she is having 2 friends round - we are going to the cinema, somewhere for dinner and then they are sleeping over! Will let them have the front room, and DS and i will spend the evening upstairs. We have lots of snacks to keep us going and hopefully the girls will be good (when DS had a sleepover for his birthday, they were still awake gone 5!!!)
So, need to crack on and get my clicks done - im hoping to find the wire i need to get my new wireless router set up, then i can have my lappy upstairs with me tonight - if i cant, will have to buy one, and with money like it is, i would rather not! But will be useful to finally have wireless for lots of reasons (me being lazy and loving my bed could be one of them!!)
Have a bit of cleaning to do, but that will wait for tomorrow, im sure the girls wont have a food fight like DS, but im sure there will be a bit of mess.
Sausage sandwiches, followed by fruit salad for lunch.
PP - hope you are ok today ((HUGS))
