    Morning everyone!

    Hope you are all well.

Well DS had us up at 2.45am this morning as he had wriggled himself into a knot in his cot. He hasnt woken up in the night at all this week so thought we had got away with it! He went back to sleep eventually and woke up at 6.30am so not too bad i suppose.

Off to York today to see my dad. Hes a coach driver and has a trip there this weekend, its not far from us in Leeds so will be nice to see him. Am taking him some of twinks hobnobs for his trip home! Doubt that will make it that far though! Might stop off at the designer outlet on the way home to try and pick up some birthday presents, will hopefully be able to get a bargain!

Hugs to those that need them xx

Haribo - have you got lost on your way back from NI

DD is off on her Duke of Edinburgh expedition today - 26 mile walk over 2 days and a night in a tent.

More sewing and knitting today. Want to get some time in the garden. DS is off skiing with 2 friends for one of their birthday treats, so DH and I are going to see if we can get some more hatching eggs :T

    Good morning everyone,

Ds and I will be making some fairy cakes this morning. Ds wants pictures of fairies on them......hmmm.

(((Hugs))) to everyone feeling rough. I am much better today after my second dose of steroids - I was having an asthma attack when I thought I might be getting a chest infection. You'd think I'd know wouldn't you?

I want to get some decluttering done today too. Most of my rooms are ok, but the room that we keep the toys in looks like a bombsite this morning.

    Take care all of you
  • Good morning

Need a cuppa as not out of bed yet!

Last night I did manage to get my stuff put back into my bedroom after its recent decoration but my spare room still looks like a tip! I will tackle that after my breakfast. Have a load in WM and another load to go in and will also give the bathroom a swipe. Want to go into town and then have my Alexander technique later today. Will put dinner in the SC while i'm having my cuppa

Have a good day and hugs to all

  • Morning all :)

PigPen & Mioliere - what are you like??? All that housework going on in the early hours.... ?!?! Feel free to come & do mine anytime ... ;)

((((((hugs))))))) for the many needing them, and also for those who would just like one anyway. Those feeling poorly try & put your feet up & look after yourselves.

Was shattered last night, & in bed by 9pm - meant I was awake 5am ish (but I just made tea & came back to bed, then dozed back off about 6.30am)
In the middle of a manic day meant up with a chap in brighton for coffee... found him on the internet, lol!!! He seemed very nice & has texted to say could I stand more of his company next week :) So I said yes... Is a nice little confidence boost, something to look forward to...

Today I am going to sort through the airing cupboard as it is full of numerous unused single bed sets now as DD's have outgrown the pink/girly/babyish ones we have.... Also some bedroom tidying (mine) needs to happen.
Must register for freecycle as I have a navy 3-seater leather sofa going begging (exDH was going to have it but it won't fit through doors of his flat) & my new sofa likely to arrive in the next week or so!!

Will probably get the BM, WM & TD all going as well.

    Have a good day all.

morning everyone. and hugs to those who need them - it was a particularly hard day for some yesterday i feel.

today as i was getting up mr gin came home from a night shift and is now tucked up in bed. i feel sometimes that we only meet for an hour in the morning and in the evening. still, stops up arguing, eh?

today i have to go to the post office and post some parcels and go to matalan to return some dresses i bought for a wedding but changed my mind about. this afternoon dd1 has a party to go to, and then it will be time for dinner, baths and bed for them, dinner and the usual ton of washing and ironing for me.

i may make time to watch to footie at lunchtime - i suppose i could tidy the front room while the tv is on.

best wishes to you all - have a great saturday

    Morning everyone.:hello: It's Saturday.gif

    We've a busy day today.

This morning, it's a bit of a tidy up, sheets changed, etc. Since the major clean up last weekend, we've managed to keep on top of things. The WM is on and I'm going to sort the BM now. There's also a bit of ironing to sort out, but that shouldn't take more than 20 minutes.

Then there's a St George themed programme of events running at a Tudor house this afternoon, so we're off there, to join in with the activities. It's the first time we've actually done anything to celebrate St George, as it's not as popular as things like St Patrick celebrations. Weather's not looking great though.

We went to a city farm yesterday, and whilst we were there, a high school pupil jumped into the guinea pig enclosure and kicked a guinea pig, which died. He thought it was really funny, and so did his classmates  Horrible, horrible child.

I made a big pot of porridge yesterday, so that's breakfast taken care of. I will be packing a picnic for lunch, and I'm making chicken korma for tea tonight, so need to get that in the slow cooker. Farmfoods are selling straight to wok noodles for 10p so we will be having those too

    Happy Birthday OldMacdonald!!!!!!!

    Belated birthday wishes to Hilstep!!!!!!!

    Good morning to everyone,

I'm going to take some of the positive energy Pigpen offered up as I think I need it today. I've got some dough rising in the kitchen, I'm about to put the WM on then do the weekly shop. Don't need much this week which is good as its the last week of the month. Tea will be roast pork as it makes a change from pizza and I don't see why I can't have a roast on a saturday rather than a sunday! Also got a ton of cleaning to do and I fancy a trip to the garden centre if I can fit it in.

Hope everyone has a good day.

  • Morning all!

I loooove the weekend..... horrible rainy weather here but have got quite a few jobs to do so doesnt matter too much. We've been wanting/needing a shed for ages and theres one a few miles away which needs taking down today which we can have for £15!! Yay! :j

I've been so good lately on the money front (even if I have been sticking everything on my money back credit card and then nearly having a heart attack when the bill comes thru!) and I'd heard that bread flour had gone up (somerfield 69p, Asda 75p) when I went to Lidls it was still 48p (I did buy quite a lot!) :o Did get some for my mum too so that makes it okay!

Hope everyones ok, might pop back later! x
