Do you want to keep secret what phone it is?
Not all phones can be unlocked for free.

£23 is a bargain, but they are notorious for dragging their heels for ages.
It can be faster on e-bay, but a proper unlocking is likely to be more expensive:

    It's unlock, not unblock.

    Where did you try?
I see the codes available on ebay for £1-£2, but check the feedback thoroughly first.

Are there any people doing unlocking at Orange that don't want to earn extra money?
Orange are notoriously slow with unlocking (especially iPhones) that looks to me like pushing their customers to ebay where their accomplices earn money. You can join the club, but expect harsh competition from your colleagues.

    Hi j3ggo,

If you're the original owner of the phone, we'll be able to get this for you.

Just do a Google search for Vodafone unlocking codes and the first result will be a link to the form you'll need to complete.

    Kind regards,

    Lee
