Hello I have recently bought a nokia c2-01 phone on t-mobile and can't seem to get it unlocked any ideas would be very much appreciated.

can someone help - bought a blackberry curve 9300 assuming locked to vodafone but want to unlock it to use 02 sim. What I want to know is if I get the phone unlocked before registering to vodafone or inserting their sim, will it effect the 12 month warranty

Unlocking, if done correctly, doesn't affect manufacturer's warranty. Don't know about the retailer's warranty, but I think it is the same. Are you sure that it's locked?

thanks for replying but now wondering why you asking if its already unlocked. I bought the phone from Argos- so assumed its locked. When you say "if its done properly" - do you mean through vodafone? We usually get phones unlocked through a stall holder in the shopping centre.

Don't know about Argos, but CPW &Co, P4U normally sell unlocked phones.

No.

We usually get phones unlocked through a stall holder in the shopping centre.

There were stories about the phones 'bricked' by dodgy unlockers, mainly at market stalls.

unlockapedia at giffgaff is a good place to check prices, but I don't see this model there. You can try similar models.

can anyone help iv'e been trying to unlock a samsung "sgh-g600" wuthout any success. have followed instructions on site but message invalide sim comes on the screen.

Hello all,

I am wanting to use an old Maxon 02 phone using my previous phones Tesco simcard and believe the Maxon to be locked to the 02 network,but not sure about that(it has not been in use for many years)

The Tesco sim fits in ok and the Tesco logo and it's features all seem to work ok apart from the fact that whenever i try to send a text or make a call i get a flashing message saying "Network busy" .

I would really appreciate help from someone please.

I have no idea about the message, but a phone locked to O2 has to work with Tesco sims.

Do you know that you can get a new modern unlocked phone for £3+£10-£3=£10 and then turn the unwanted credit into £6 cash if you want?
