Just bought a code online for a samsung S8000 from Sim Unlock Store. In the small print in their terms they state that they might send you a temp code that needs to be entered each time the phone is switched on...and they did. The code is not what you expect and does not unlock the phone for use with another sim. Its a con DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OR OTHERS LIKE IT. MSE warned and they were right...check the small print but better still go to the high street and get it unlocked by someone you can at least have some come back with.

Vodafone have still not provided me with an unlock code after three months of requesting one. I had a two year contract which expired on 4 December 2011 and the phone is now dead. They have prevaricated and delayed. Either this is deliberate or they are totally inefficient. Don't get a contract with Vodafone is my advice.

I have just used the the unlocking site you recommended (Tryckill) and can confirm that it worked a treat first time on my Nokia phone so thanks for saving me £20 which is what Orange wanted to do the same!!

To unlock the Samsung Galaxy Ace go here - forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1204705 every reply post is a thank you and it worked for me.
If like others you have problems getting your computer to recognize your phone you've probably got an Asus motherboard and need to plug the usb in the back of the computer and not the front. The instructions may look complex but its a 15 minute job and its free.
By the way avoid unlock codes direct they charge you for information that is already available on the moneysavingexpert.com site, offer unlock codes that are sometimes temporary and/or do not work.

Heey i have a phone that i brought from overseas from tonga , and i would ask if anyone could please help me unlock it . i brought it from Digicel in tonga , the brand is a Nokia C3 , and the IMEI is 359066040931808 .
i would be so happy if someone could please help me . thanks heaps

It's been posted many times there that "there aren't any free codes for it" and that "You can get it unlocked by a pro unlocker, but that would cost".

I have got a samsung e2530 brand new on tesco mobile can it be unlocked ?
