As it's an old model, I'm guessing you've had the phone for over a year, in which case you can get it unlocked for free from Vodafone. Failing that, you're probably best off just buying a new phone - you can pick up basic phones on most networks for around a tenner so it's not worth paying to get your old phone unlocked.

I got it for my nan... the same one she had before as she is struggling with her new one and just wants the old one... can i just ring vodafone or do i have to go in the store?

hello, anyone know where i can get this phone unlocked using the web, its locked to orange. i've read the posts here and loads of AVOID which is great but anyone recommend a website? orange site states need to have phone for 3 months before they will unlock which leads me to believe this is possible using the web. many mahy thanks anyone who responds. N

I have an old Sony C902 on a T Mobile contract that expired over a year ago - my partners phone battery had an issue so we needed it. I contacted T Mobile by phone for a code and was advised it would cost £15. However, following a dig through various forums, I did find a few year old suggestion of writing to T Mobile at and providing the phone type plus IMEI code: [FONT=&quot]Subpin Team[/FONT]

hi my son has just bought a samsung genio touch from his friend and it is locked to orange. could anyone tell if they know how to unlock this so that he can use his tesco sim card sorry if this sounds really stupid but i am not very phone fiendly im afraid. any advise would be extremely helpful thanks
